    Good Day All,
Im hoping to get some traction on an idea I have, but just can't seem to put the "building blocks" together. I've read plenty about following your passion, and doing something that really jazzes you to get up everyday and work on. After doing some deep thinking I've come up with the idea of creating a resource to teach children about success principles. Kind of a "things that school won't tell you about the real world" type of program. But to be honest, I am really struggling with how to put this together. Ebook?? Membership site?? Blog with tips and monetize it with other success programs that would provide more tools for the subject Im talking about?? Any help or guidance from someone who knows where I am right now would be great. For some reason this idea is just really sticking in the back of the mind, despite me not being able to immediately action it with an "aha" moment.

Obviously you are going to target parents and parents tend to be very busy. I think I would investigate what busy parents like best in terms of educational products for their kids. Maybe it's a game or something interactive--combining a kid activity with education.

A couple of ideas come to mind. Obviously you would want to create a strong community with parents (probably mothers, mainly) interested in this topic. So a blog, facebook page & mailing list would be the first things to work on. Set yourself up as an authority/leader on the topic.

I think a drip content via email type subscription may work well for those who want a weekly assignment or lesson to work with or present to their children. I usually refer to this as the Membernaire model. Are you familiar with it?

    Hello,
I agree with Terry to go ahead with making a blog. There are so many ideas you can put on it. You could also expand it to become a membership site once you have a good readership. You could do reviews of what parents want their kids to use. Once you have a blog then you can also have a email list of your members and ask them to take polls or something else.I guess if you were to move forward with your idea in the offline world eventually you would want a blog too.If you need some help building your blog I can help you. Let me know. OK? lorak
