what about Article Marketing?

what about Article Marketing? it is still working ? at my side when i was marketing article before GOOGLE Panda algorithm. they were giving really good results and impact on my keywords ranking. but now i m observing article marketing is not really sufficient. you ll get a very slow improvement in your keywords ranking. after submit 10 to 15 articles. i think Google has set a really high standard to get on its First Page Rankings.
if article marketing is not working good and fast now which is the best internet marketing strategy please share your opinion am i right or its just happening with my website's ranking.
