I don't really keep up what the hottest releases are, but I do keep a running list of books I've had recommended to me that I want to read. Currently the list includes:
The Accidental Creative, by Todd Henry Real Time Marketing and PR, by David Scott Getting Things Done, by David Allen The Secret Life of Pronouns: What Our Words Say About Us, by James W. Pennebaker Teaching as a Subversive Activity, by Neil Postman The Wisdom of Crowds, by James Surowiecki The Time Paradox, by Philip Zimbardo and John Boyd How We Decide, by Jonah Lehrer Principles of Applied Stupidity, by Justin Locke (after catching his excellent Google talk video) The Upside of Irrationality, by Dan Ariely. Dan Ariely's Predictably Irrational was the most influential book for me I read in '11 and I think all serious Internet marketers should read it and consider it's implications.
