I think your site is laid out nicely but I think you might be focusing too much on keyword numbers. It's going to be on the inside of your website, posts, pages, categories, etc. where you'll use keyword phrases the most. I think a basic dress shop domain would be fine and then you can branch out on the site into different types of dresses. I think you are ready to pick a domain and get started. Also I would look into more than just the Amazon affiliate program to promote if you haven't already started that process.
Hi Angienewton
Yes i am focusing a bit on KW numbers cause have been online for 2 years without much success and realised that KW and KW numbers do play a role if success is to be achieved without too much of backlinking efforts
Hence yet looking /researching KWs for a domain cause dont want to put up much efforts in backlinking
Sona
Yes have read here only that affiliates are moving away from Amazon and want suggestions for affiliates other than Amazon
Simple. Use your main keyword. I think "skirt" is ideal. Use it with something like topskirts, prettyskirts etc. If you intended to use the product name as keyword then it is no use. How much long do you thing your product will stay in demand. It will be replaced by other brand new products.
Sona,
I can honestly say that you don't really need to focus on numbers. Once I stopped and just went for all the longtail keywords in my niche is when things started to happen. These days you have to put a lot of effort into websites because Google is really cracking down.
As for affiliate programs, you'll have to Google your niche/product and the word affiliate program. Or check out affiliate networks such as shareasale.com, linkshare.com, cj.com and pepperjamnetwork.com.
Hi Sona,
All great advice in this thread!
This simply isn't the case. Your domain name will nothing to do with needing (or not needing) to get backlinks. You'll need backlinks to get traffic & rankings - no matter what your domain name.
If you're referring to "exact match domain name" marketing... that no longer works with the search engines like it used to. They stopped giving weight to that as a ranking criteria. Consider "clicknewz.com" (my domain). I have been blogging under this domain for years - before, during, and after the exact match domain era - and I have ALWAYS enjoyed great search engine rankings for the pages & posts on that domain.
The domain holds very little weight in the overall ranking criteria.
Your best move is to consider branding more seriously than keywords.
I liked SonasDressShop.com
Other ideas (and these are currently available):
SkirtswithStyle.com
TopSkirtTrends.com
StylishSkirt.com

Hi Lynn
I have experienced that it becomes very difficult to rank for hyphernated domain names Would not like to get into skirts specifically cause may branch out into wedding gowns or something in that arena also . Should have scope for future expansion
Had thought of "glamorous dresses " but again all dresses , for example summer dresses may not be glamorous
Further, Dress Shop , it has many competing pages and may require more backlinking efforts ? May be wrong . But would like the debate to go a bit further .

Further Lynn i am also looking at the average number of Links on the top 10 pages of the KW Phrase for which the suggesions are coming in
Can it be " Pretty Dresses" or "Best Dresses " Only inviting suggestion
Sona
Again, the domain name carries very little weight in overall ranking criteria, so don't worry about keywords for the domain as much as branding.
I would not mix wedding dresses/gowns with skirts and dresses. They are two different markets completely. If you want to sell wedding dresses and accessories, you'll want a website targeting brides only.
I didn't recommend a hyphenated domain. And wouldn't.
