Thread: Looking for help in all the wrong places ...

Default Looking for help in all the wrong places ...

Where can I find someone who will truly help without looking to make a buck? Would be awesome to have someone show us the ropes and get us going in the right direction. Just seems like its only in someones best interest if there's something in it for them? Why can't people just help one another without trying to make a buck off someone?

You could head on over to Lynn's blog where she has info on about every subject you can imagine when it comes to building your niche site. And this part of the forum is free but obviously you won't get the most in depth training as you would in a paid membership (Lynn's or any other out there).

What are your questions, we can try to help you here and point you in the right direction.

This free section of the forum and my blog are both great places to get "free help" as Angie pointed out. I assume this note is in response to my not being able to do free email consulting. You would be shocked to know how many emails and questions/requests I get on a daily basis. I would literally be working for free (and go broke, lol) if I tried to answer each and every one.

However, by sharing the information publicly (on my blog) and by answering questions publicly (here on the forum) I am able to offer my time for free as it helps a much larger number of people than just one at a time. So it's mutually beneficial, and the reason I started a forum more than 10 years ago - when my inbox got out of control with individual Q&A's.

There are tons of GREAT free resources. Take advantage of them!

I'd second what both Angie and Lynn have said above.

If you follow and more important, IMPLEMENT even half of what's evailable as instruction on Clicknewz and the member's forum, you will be well on your way to making a success of your blogging.

Then once you've started in the right direction - you will have seen for yourself that both Lynn and what she is teaching is genuine - and then it's up to you whether you move on to the even greater detailed help and advice that's available in the Elite Members Forum.

Probably like you I have taken a good few wrong turns along the way and ended up "following" someone who did nothing but bombard me with the "next greatest scheme" to earn a buck online and in the process earned their buck out of me! I am so glad I signed up on the members forum and upgraded to the elite members forum here at Clicknewz. All my questions get answered and I'm starting to realise how little I actually knew about doing business the right way online.

If Lynn had an affiliate program, it would be such an easy program to recommend!

Experience is something that counts. You'd find nearly anything and everything over Google, but shortlisting something that'd work, comes with experience and skills. And that's what the consulting fees is all about, which is pretty fair and understandable imho.
