Default Is anyone using the ezinearticles wordpress plugin?

I was setting up my blog and thought this might be a good plugin.

I've read a little on this forum from Lynn about "not" automatically posting content everywhere. I think I understand that. I don't want content flying around every time I post something on my blog. I can post...than maybe add it to ezinearticles, twitter, facebook, etc. at my own desire/choice. I like that approach much better.

Anyway, the whole point was if anyone has used that plugin?

I don't personally use it but then again, I don't use ezine articles either. If I were to do it though, I would write unique content on my blog and separate content on ezine articles.

What does the plug in do?

    Hi Eileen,

You don't want to publish your own blog content ANYwhere else. So if this plugin shares your posts on EzineArticles, that's a big fat NO. The reason: you'll be competing with yourself in the search results with duplicate content. We had an awesome session on this topic during Brainstorming Hour last night (a call we do twice a week in the private mastermind group).

The bottom line is: unique content everywhere. Social media will be for snippets and teasers that lead into the content on your blog.

    Thanks Lynn! (...and Angie)

...oddly, that completely makes sense to me! lol I think I'm catching on to all of this stuff. :-)

To play devil's advocate though...because I've always heard ezinearticles should be used to create backlinks to your site, etc. Would it be safe to say that still a solid strategy...just with "unique" content?!?

I love the idea of social media 'snippets' and not automatically posting the same content to twitter, facebook, etc.

I think I'm almost to that point where I'm going to dive into the Brainstorming Hour! I'm kinda penny-pinching right now. ;-)

I would say yes it still a solid strategy when it comes to building back links.

If you have any questions about the elite group that haven't been answered, don't hesitate to ask. I would say be sure you are ready to put in work on your business because we can really dig in and brainstorm with you in the group!

    That's interesting Robert...

I'd like to hear what others have to say about this because it gets into more of a techie 'how google views it' conversation that I'm not sure anyone truly knows. lol

As a newbie, I guess I lean more toward Lynn...just write unique content for both my blog and ezinearticles - separate the two. But I can see as I write more articles and 'time' becomes an issue...I'd want to distribute the information I've already written.

    Hmmmm. ;-)

Ideally you will publish unique content to Ezine Articles, or when Guest Blogging - or doing any kind of Content Marketing.

The way I run my online business is with readers and customers in mind. Not Google. Ironically, this is exactly what Google appreciates and rewards. So I'll write a great article that leads in to a post on my blog, and link to it from that article. Readers go from an intro topic, into a detailed tutorial on my blog, and from there to sign up for my newsletter or purchase a product. The key is that it all ties together in a way that makes sense for actual readers - who ultimately become your buyers.

Junk content and junk marketing = junk visitors.

    Makes sense...thanks again Lynn..

Now...I really newbie question. Let's say that 'someone' just wrote some fun content and uploaded it to her "work in progress" blog...and she actually enjoyed doing it! Then she uploaded that same content to ezinearticles.com and it's currently under review. Then she got on a forum and realized that the duplicate content thing wasn't the best idea.

Would you advise her to delete the content under review on ezinearticles.com....or just keep moving forward providing new updated content and not worry so much about it.

I wouldn't stress over that one single post. Just don't make it a practice as a "marketing strategy."
