Default Easy Software for Cobranding ebooks?

Hi everyone. I know I've been absent for a very long time but I'm hoping you can help me.

One of my clients wants to give his affiliates the option of co-branding his ebooks for distribution to the affiliates' list.

I know there are various software available but would prefer a recommendation rather than trial by error.

Anyone have any good/bad things to share? Insight to the easiest way to handle this project?

    Many thanks,

    Christina

    hi C,
by co-branding do you mean they actually put them as a co-author?

    Hi Christina!

Like Kate - I need a little bit more clarification.

Do you mean that you want the ability to add a person's name to the original author, so it's knowing how to add an extra line of text etc.

I don't know the specific software to do this other than Photoshop, which is what I use...

The software that most people use to rebrand an ebook with the affiliate's link is ViralPDF Silver. That does require the affiliates to download software on their computer.

There is another option that is web-based and allows replacement of text and links. If you go the Affiliate Tools Page demo page and click the ViralPDF tab, you can see how it works.

Christine - this looks useful and it's yours!

    What I don't understand is what it's for..can you elaborate a little?

Yes, the plugin is mine but the rebranding tool is not mine.

If you have affiliates, one of the tools you can provide them is a report they can give away to their list or on their website or on their social media pages.

Within that report would be a link to your site or sales page. The rebranding software (like ViralPDF) goes into the report and replaces it with another link unique to that affiliate. Then when they give the report away and a reader clicks on the link, the affiliate gets credit for a sale should it occur.

This web-based tool shown in the Affiliate Tools Page demo does the same thing except behind the scenes. The affiliate visits your rebrander page supplied by the tool provider and fills in their affiliate ID, their name, or other information you set up within the report. The backend software makes the replacements and delivers the "rebranded" report to the affiliate.

My plugin just supplies an iframe to show your rebrander page supplied by the tool provider so that the affiliate stays on your website and doesn't have to go to another website.
