Exclamation From Hobby to Actual Business

    Hey Everybody!

Just wanted to thank you all for your participation here on this forum Learning about SEO and Internet Marketing is like taking a college course! So much brain overload but I believe in the long run well worth it.

I wanted to make this IM thing happen immediately as that is what I am used to. I realize that if you want to do it right (and by that I mean right for yourself as well as your customer base) you need to take your time,be precise and offer the internet public something YOU would be interested in, not something you want to shove down peoples throats. I do want to offer quality and if that takes me forever to learn how to do that so be it!

Thank you all for the time you put into this forum, this is one guy that appreciates it so very much.

    Take care, Chris Norman

Chris, that brief statement tells me that you "get it." That's a big deal, because some folks never figure it out. Keep working hard, and before you know it, you'll be well on your way to success!

The key thing is that you realize it is a business - and not a get rich quick opp. So many people don't get that point. And business is not built overnight. Then again, there's nothing saying you can't start a website and make your first couple of sales in a matter of a few short weeks. Jeanette did

For starting out in Affiliate Marketing, my best advice would be to read Rosalind Gardner's affiliate guide. I have a detailed overview of it on my blog at this link: http://www.clicknewz.com/2074/super-...ndbook-review/

Are you on my mailing list? If so, you received a link to the recent webinar I did with Rosalind on that topic. If not, you can join at the main page of this site, and then reply to the confirmation email and I'll forward you a copy of that last issue.

    Welcome Mike

My recommendation on learning SEO is simple - and free:

A lot of people over-complicate SEO, but it's honestly not that difficult. Optimize the pages, get quality links. Obviously there are details to that, but simplified... that's all there is to it.
