Hi Melanie. I haven't been around much lately but I do some affiliate marketing too.
That's a fair number of visitors there. As long as they are in your targeted audience you should be earning some good coin from that. As far as how many times you are promoting products, that is a personal decision for you, but there should always be a call to action of some type with every post, that is, there should be a purpose for every article you put up.
Have you been building your lists in your posts? Usually you will get better buying response from people on your email lists. I don't mean to be nosy but with 2000-2400 visitors daily, you should start to see a profit.
What niche are you writing about? Is it a tightly focused micro niche or are you writing about a general topic? Do you have a link to your blog so we can have a look? I don't see anything in your signature.

I was just wondering if you should promote something with every post or one every three, etc. What works for you? Also, do you mix it up with banners and text links in your post or just one or the other?
Also, I am getting about 2000-2400 visitors a day now on my main blog but am not making much in the way of affiliate income. I know I probably should be because that sounds like a pretty good number of visitors to me. I guess that is why I am trying to figure out how often to promote products and set up some sort of strategy. Any tips would help.
thanks all!
Melanie
