Local Dart Tournament Inspires Site Revisions

I just returned from a weekend tournament a couple of towns over. This particular dart tournament was a benefit for one of the long-time members of the Tennessee Dart Association. Sadly, she was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease, so everyone came out for the all day tournament - from several surrounding counties - to help raise some cash.

Some of you may remember that I signed up for the Fall League last year, and that I launched a dart supplies website around the same time.

I had a great time playing in the league, and even won the Sportsmanship Award at the end of the season 😀 . I decided to take a few months off and skip the Spring League, but I am already looking forward to signing back up this Fall. Playing again this weekend reminded me just how much I love the game.

It also reminded me of some site revisions that I have been planning for the dart site, and inspired me to get to work on those. My goal is to expand on the site with original content and interactive features. Plans include:

Install a Discussion Forum
Add content pages
Set up a Blog/Feed
Create a Photo Gallery

This should be a good start. I already have someone working on content & articles and the rest should be easy enough to set up on the site. It would be nice to have a place where people can upload their own photos or sections where people can contribute tips & news about leagues or tournaments.

Any other suggestions would be welcomed. I would like to make the site as interactive as possible as well as a thorough resource. I am looking forward to getting back to work on this site 😉
