Yesterday I interviewed Ryan Moran of Spacebankers during my live weekly webinar. I met Ryan while I was researching legitimate software to automate some of my MySpace activity. That sounds questionable I know, but my friends list has grown to the point that I was looking for something to automate the things I'm already doing manually.
A lot of people will say that MySpace Marketing is dead. But the truth of the matter is simply that MySpace spamming is dead. MySpace is still alive and well - and brimming with potential...
When I ran across "Spacebankers" I naturally assumed it was an outdated guide on how to spam MySpace. I have to confess though, something about the sales copy - and Ryan himself - really caught my attention. Those of you that caught the interview live picked up on that same vibe, I'm sure.
It turns out that Spacebankers is not outdated at all. In fact, Ryan just updated it this spring and it now includes tutorials on Facebook, and other social networks. Given my interest in social networking, I had to check this one out for myself.
"More importantly, these strategies are ethical and up to date. Those who have abused MySpace continually need to change their methods because they get figured out and their profiles get deleted. However, the SpaceBankers program teaches you how to create long-term profits from MySpace with ethical strategies that will continue to produce profits as long as you want them to."
One of the things that I really ended up liking about Ryan’s guide is that he encourages you to get creative with the ideas that he presents. And to quote Ryan, he says on one of the pages: “Those who truly make the most money on the internet, are those that learn to adapt and keep at it.â€
While it is meant to be a used as a step-by-step guide, it is also left wide open for creative adjustments by the reader.
This is where it started to get really interesting for me. You see, Spacebankers is basically a blueprint for an online business model. Meaning, if you didnt have your own online business when you read it, you could easily use Ryan's model to start making money online.
But you can also use the strategies taught to promote practically anything - your website, your blog, your own products, your radio show, you name it.
Keep in mind that EVERY single interest group or niche that exists… is represented on this one site (MySpace).
"SpaceBankers is my step-by-step program to that shows you how to use social networks to make lots of money. Basically, it is a sure-fire way to use affiliate marketing with social networks and amass a lot of sales in the process. MySpace, Facebook, as well as another "hidden" social network are all explored, and you will learn how to use each of these to build your exposure and make lots of money."
I’ve had a MySpace profile for years. It is probably the one place online where I let my hair down the most. My profile represents me as a person, both professionally and personally.
This has worked fine for me for what it is – I meet a lot of friends, do a bit of networking, and have also established more personal relationships (and a few JV's) with other internet marketers too. But I don’t really do any 'hardcore marketing' there. I started to realize that I barely even scratch the surface with what MySpace offers...
In the first few chapters of Spacebankers alone, I took 5 pages of notes. Not all of these were notes straight out of the guide, but rather ideas that kept springing up along the way. In fact, I outlined a complete profile redesign by the time I got to Strategy #3 (not even halfway through the guide).
You'll want to pay special attention to that one, by the way. Ryan quotes one of his members as making over $7,000 in 3 days time with this one strategy. I’m going to leave it at that, because I don’t want to give it away… but you’ll like this one. Its easy, its ethical and you can tailor it to work with your current business or promotion with a little creativity. Again, that was Strategy #3 – so make a note to pay special attention to that one if you decide to read Spacebankers.
"SpaceBankers isn't just an ebook, either; instead, it contains several ebooks, video instruction, and personal support in the SpaceBankers forum. All will contribute to teaching you exactly how to turn social networks into cash and make money with MySpace and Facebook."
If you read the sales copy, you might mistakenly assume that Spacebankers is just for newbies - or that its all about spamming MySpace with affiliate links. That's not the case at all. One of the things that stood out to me while I was reading through it was that this is also a perfect blueprint to sell your own products or services.
You can use Spacebankers to boost your online profits, to set up totally separate streams of income, to become an authority in your niche, to funnel traffic into your sites, or to start making money online if you arent already.
The truth is, MySpace is one of the most active communities on the internet. It pays to take a closer look at how you can funnel some of that traffic into your own site, or even capitalize on it as a standalone business model.
Check it out for yourself. Its an awesome read, chock full of creative ideas and step-by-step guidance. It comes with video tutorials, a brainstorming/support forum, and a full money-back guarantee. Continue to Spacebankers >
P.S. The interview with Ryan Moran was recorded, and is now available for download in the private forum at SSWT. You must be an Elite Member to access the private forum, but you can do that for as little as $5/month 😉
Goodness. I thought sure there would be a slew of comments here by now.
I sat in on Lynn's session with Ryan yesterday. What a treat!
I'm now as enthused as Lynn. In fact, I've jumped in, too, and am now in the process of reading Ryan's ebook and seeing how I can make adjustments in my processes.

I was on the webinar yesterday as well, and I think the one word I'd use to describe Ryan is "genuine". You could add "smart", "clever" and "adorable", but that wouldn't make him unique in the field of internet marketing. This guy has the same core values as Lynn's audience - ethical ways to make loads of money. He rocked, thanks for finding him, Lynn!
I have been using Myspace for strictly for marketing purposes for years. Now due to the fact that I produce music for a living, my marketing has been geared towards that niche and I have witnessed staggering success whether promoting a show, new album, or upcoming tour dates. If you stay connected with your people, and be genuine when responding to friend requests and personal messages you will build a reputation of being reliable, and most of all human.
I'm going to be purchasing space bankers to satisfy my own curiosity - and I know since Ryan and myself are close in age that he will be hitting some points that I have been dabbling with.
Social networking is where the party is at kids!
Elijah - be sure to check your email first. I just sent out a note to those who are registered for the weekly webinars. There's 2 things in that note that will be of specific interest to you 😉
I was bummed when I got booted from the webinar, and very excited to see that email 😉

Sue for copyright! LOL
Where did you get THAT picture of me, Lynn? It's a good one, but I have no idea where you grabbed it.
From Google Images of course 😀
Play nice, Dennis 😉 lol
@ Lynn
Thank you. 🙂
I'm sad I missed the interview, I love Ryan's work and how he presents his information, it's very easy to understand and he comes across as a regular guy.
I've always had plans of joining Spacebankers, and I still do.....you may have hooked me in with the ability to download the interview!
We shall see.....I'll stick around for a while. 🙂
Hi Lynn,
I missed the webinar Tuesday. Just downloaded and listened to it.
One of the things I have on my list to learn more about is using myspace and facebook for traffic generation.
This was extremely helpful. I also appreciated the PDF too. 🙂

Lynn:
Really emjoyed the Webinar with Ryan. It was one of your best yet. Ryan made it so simple and I like the idea that he is communicating with free Video's to give us a taste of what his Spacebankers program is all about.
I am sure we will be discussing this Webinar for a long time. Keep up the good work in getting quality speakers.

Considering that there are now so many social networks catering to such a wide range of niches, my biggest problem is finding ones relevant to me and related to my specific interests or product niches. Google seems to be inefficient and returns alot of irrelevant results. A good resource that I use to find them is this directory of social networking sites
