Wow – BIG News About the NAMS Event!

As you know, twice a year I teach at a workshop in Atlanta called NAMS:
Niche Affiliate Marketing Systems
It has always sold out, and just keeps getting bigger and better every year.

This January will be the 5th NAMS Event, and some interesting details have been surfacing about it over the last week. It involves both NAMS-5, and the NAMS-6 event in August...

The format for the NAMS Workshop is changing, and this year you have an opportunity to get involved in both annual events - and continuous workshops & training - for the entire year - for the price of just one live event! Read on, because this just gets more and more interesting...

The NAMS Workshop Goes Virtual!

For the first time ever the January NAMS event is going to be held online. The August event will be on-site in Atlanta as usual, but the January event will be virtual and available to anyone anywhere!

This opens up the opportunity for people to attend who may be unable to travel, or unable to make the specific dates in January.

There will be live online classes 5 hours a day, for 3 days, from January 14th through the 16th. This includes content-packed one hour sessions from 20 expert instructors on a variety of topics.

You can get all the details at: www.nicheaffiliatemarketingsystems.com

But Wait! There's More...

Right now you can register with the early-bird special, for only $297. And guess what? That includes a ticket to the live NAMS event in Atlanta in August!

Yes, you get access to the live virtual event in Janary as well as the 3-day workshop in Atlanta in August, both for one low price! Two for the price of one. πŸ˜‰

With the change in format, there will be even more opportunity to participate one-on-one with the NAMS instructors. For the virtual session there will be assignments, and an online community where you can discuss your assignments - and have open Q&A with the instructors.

There will be additional follow-up training throughout the year, leading up to the live workshop in August, where you can meet & talk with the instructors in person. That live event will be August 18-21 in Atlanta, GA.

In addition to both events you'll get access to all past NAMS event recordings, weekly instructor follow-up, access to Accountability Groups - as well as a NAMS Notebook containing audios, presentations and transcripts of the Virtual workshop.

Again, details are at: www.nicheaffiliatemarketingsystems.com

Note: the $297 early-bird special is only good until the end of December. It will go up to $397 on January 1st, and then continue to increase after that.

(The Inside Skinny)

These details are not published anywhere yet (that I know of) and I may be asked to remove them, but so far this is what the speaker & topic line-up looks like for the January virtual event:

  • Lynn Terry (That's Me!) on "Affiliate Marketing 101" and
"Taking Your Affiliate Site To The Next Level"
  • Willie Crawford on Successful Joint Ventures
  • Paul Evans on Presentation Persuasion - How to Make More Affiliate Commissions with Webinars, Teleseminars, Video and Even the Stage!
  • Denise Wakeman on The Secret to Business Blog Success
  • Felicia Slattery on Creating Credibility
  • Terry Dean on Increasing Your Conversion Rate
  • Doug Hudiburg on Twitter Traffic Without the Time Drag
  • Susanne Myers on Link Building Made Easy
  • Maritza Parra with a Video Workshop
  • Karon Thackston on Copywriting Basics:
The Who, What and How of Writing for the Web
  • Kathleen Gage on Six Figure Continuity
  • Dan Morris on Creating A Profitable Local SEO Business

Keep in mind that none of this is set in stone yet, and the confirmed agenda will be released soon on the official website: www.nicheaffiliatemarketingsystems.com

You really can't beat the virtual training AND live event deal for under 300 bucks. Most courses are selling for $1-2 thousand right now, with no real follow-up OR access to the experts. This is a great opportunity to get top-notch Internet Marketing & Affiliate training from January to August, and then meet up live in Atlanta to take things to the next level.

This is one of those events where the speakers & instructors get super involved, where everyone hangs out together - speakers and attendees alike, and where you have a real opportunity to get your questions answered and get one-on-one help. If at all possible, make it a point to attend the workshop in Atlanta this August. πŸ˜‰

I would love to see you there!!

Best,

p.s. The $297 deal is ONLY good now through Dec 31st!

Wow Lynn thank you for this info. January was not an option for me but now that it is virtual it is. This will open the doors for alot of people i would think. Great stuff!

  2. I am including NAMS as the continued education part of my business plan in the new year and I can't wait to dig into some new ideas and move forward in a big way!

  3. Hey Lynn, I was just thinking about making plans to get to NAMS next month and just heard David's video that January NAMS is virtual, I was a little sad not to be meeting everyone next month but having the January as Virtual and be able to go in August too is a pretty sweet deal.

January at home by the fireplace is probably a good idea anyway πŸ™‚

  4. Sheri Dresser says

Lynn, thanks for the great update. I actually forwarded this link to several new people who signed up for NAMS in January, and I think they are going to be very excited, as I am. Actually, I like the idea of a virtual event in January when the weather is less than ideal and every one has just come off a busy holiday season and is ready to focus and get down to business for the new year!

I will miss seeing everyone live, for sure. But it will definitely allow more people to attend and have access to the great information being provided. What a great value this is! I am hopeful that people will really realize it and take advantage of it while they can!

Thanks for all you do for us! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    • Thank you Sheri πŸ˜€ I agree, this new format could work out very well. I look forward to seeing how the long-term hands-on format helps everyone take action and stay on top of their goals, leading up to the live August event. See you there!

  5. Alan Petersen says

Not sure if I can sit through 5 hours per day on an online seminar but the chance to make it to the live event in August for the same price is awesome! I've yet to make a NAMS event so looks like a good chance for August. πŸ™‚

    • It will be great to meet you, Alan! As for the 5 hours/day, that's how I feel about live events - though the days are *much* longer, lol. I'm an introvert so the long days and big crowds tend to drain me, where they energize others.

I do love the idea that everyone will have access to the recordings and presentations, so you can easily do self-paced study leading up to the August event.

    • Hey Alan - You're in my boat now... Not that I can't sit through 5 hours, but I don't ever GET TO sit through the workshops during the event. Running an event like this means that I'm always putting out fires and working on schedules, tweaking technical details, etc. That's why the recordings are so important to me too.

And one thing that Lynn didn't mention above (Lynn - I'm going to steal some of this for the sales page πŸ™‚ ) is that after the event, you will receive a notebook with all the recordings, webinar videos, and presentations so you can continue to study them.

One more thing: We say 3 days, 5 hours per day, 20 instructors - do the math. That doesn't really work out. And besides, we already have about 25 instructors who will be participating. This is probably going to run Jan. 14 through the next week with an hour or two each day.

I'm pretty stoked about this. Look forward to meeting you.

      David

  6. Rhonda Page says

Lynn, Thanks for the update. I was gonna try to make NAMS in January, but much better in August. I am definitely going to try to put it together to do both. I feel badly for the person who had already booked her flights. Hope she can take advantage of the package. Take care, Rhonda

  7. This is much better for me as I just couldn't make it in January.

  8. I was thinking about attending in January and with this new information I decided to take the opportunity and I bought my ticket tonight. Looking forward to the virtual and in person event, especially the in person networking.

  9. I will Not be getting this. Attended in August and was very dissappointed in what I got for my money. Flew from UK and just wasted my time except for meeting 1 or 2 realy nice people. Most of it was pure waffle maybe my expectations were too high.

    • Hey D,

I'd love to hear more about your experience. What *were* your expectations, and were they based on something you read or were told? I'm involved with the event (as a teacher only) so I am interested in continuing to make it better - and would love to hear your feedback.

  10. Is it just me...when I click on your link form NAMS it takes me to Google.

  11. I've only gotten a page, multiple times, that is one of those "Your PC is Infected" offers to download an antivirus package. Looks like the link has been hijacked.

  12. The link is working fine on my end:
    http://www.nicheaffiliatemarketingsystems.com

Bill - that may be something on your end. Does it say Security Essentials 2011 in the title bar, or something similar? If so, that's a Trojan virus on your computer that needs to be removed...

    • Bill, Karin, and Lynn -

That's me. Everything we had was put on a new server this weekend - bigger, better, yada - and this has been an artifact of that. The data center is working on it.

It has something to do with clicking on a link in an html format.

In the mean time, type Lynn's link in your address bar - http://NicheAffiliateMarketingSystems.com exactly as it is. That worked for me.

I think we're honing in on this issue.

Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

      dp

    • Yes Lynn, it does say Security Essentials 2011. However, I ran multiple antivirus tools, such as McAfee, SuperAntiSpyware, and SpyBot - Search and Destroy, but they all came back negative. I'll use David's suggestion and type in the link. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone at NAMS in August.

      Best regards,

      Bill T.

  13. I can not get into any link. It say server not found. Thanks

  14. Oops, I spoke too soon. I get a server not found page.

  15. Bob Moldashel says

I have mixed feelings about the change. I already have my plane ticket and hotel reservations for Atlanta. So now I need to get back whatever I can from the airline. That should be fun...

I think the virtual idea is great with the follow up in August when it is easier to travel. I got in on the early bird special at the greatly reduced rate and hope that rate covers both events.

I still can't wait to start. Bring it on!

    • Bob -

The early bird rate DOES cover both events and the continuing education until then.

And I'm really sorry about any inconvenience the change causes. I hope we're making up for that in a big way.

      dp

      • Bob Moldashel says

        David,

When I say "Early Bird" I was talking about the January/February 2010 early, early, early bird special. Thats included alos....correct?

        Thanks for the reply

        -B-

        • If you have paid for the early, early, early bird (probably at NAMS4 or the day or two after), or rolled forward for some reason, you're included.

If you have a ticket (figuratively), you're in.

And I have more big surprises this week for those who are in...

          David

  16. Lee Fecteau says

Sounds like a great conference. There is good information about what is included in a NAMS conference at: http://askbobtheteacher.com/blog/interview-with-david-perdew-about-nams-3.

Lynn and David, Is there a hourly schedule of the NAMS-5 and NAMS-6 schedule so I can accommodate my church attendance, etc. on these upcoming weekends?

    Thanks,

    Lee Fecteau

  17. Cindy Brock says

While this is my 3rd NAMS, I do wish there was a change up in speakers. This workshop continues to be focused on "newbies" and us "oldbies" might find more value in something that dives in a little deeper. (Even the advanced sessions seem to be leaning towards the same general topics each time.)
