In early February I mentioned attending BlogWorld Expo in New York, which takes place in New York in just a couple weeks.
My assistant Angie and I were planning to attend together, and it would be a first trip to NYC for us both. Unfortunately things came up recently on both our ends that prevented us from being able to attend in June. It was a big decision, but we finally had to call it.
Fortunately we were able to transfer our tickets to the next event, which is in January.
We're not the only ones in our circle that won't be able to attend in June. Things came up for other people as well - which happens. Sometimes you simply can't travel, or can't attend a live event for one reason or another.
Luckily, BlogWorld has that covered... 😀
BlogWorld Virtual Tickets
If you can't make it to New York and still want to get all that BlogWorld has to offer, choose the Virtual Ticket when you register. This will allow you to attend from home, on your own time - and for a fraction of the cost of attending the live event!
(Not only is this a great option for those of us that can't attend BlogWorld live in June, it's a great add-on for those that do - because you get even more out of the event.)
Here's what you get with the Virtual Ticket:
• Video Recordings of almost every single session at BlogWorld New York 2012, including the Social Media Business Summit. It's over 100 hours of video content… which is far more than any of the live attendees will be able to see in person! (You'll receive the recordings about a week after the live event ends.)
• MP3 Recordings of all of the above, so you can listen in to sessions while you drive or work out at the gym… or at your own leisure.
• Bonus, behind-the-scenes Video Interviews with speakers, delving even further into their strategies and teachings.
• Audio Interviews with speakers that will be posted EVERY EVENING while BlogWorld is actually happening. Want to feel like you're actually there? This is as close as you can get!
This is all exclusive content, available only to Virtual Ticket registrants. You actually get more content than the people who will be there in person. 😉
It's well over 100 hours of content, 200+ speakers, and all that exclusive, Virtual-only bonus material. You're not going to find a better deal on this much top-notch content. Click here to get more information about the Virtual Ticket:
^ You'll find a detailed listing of everything included at that link.
You Can Still Attend The Live BlogWorld Event As Well
Here's just a small sample of the topics the conference will cover:
• Building An Authority Brand: 10 Must-Do’s For Serious Bloggers
• How to Grow a Local Blog Network
• The 411 on Recording and Producing a Great Podcast Interview
• How to Effectively Podcast to a Global Audience
• How to Build Your Audience and Marketing Your Podcast
• Finding Sponsors for My Web Series
• How to Get My Web Series on Connected TV's

Even if you plan to attend the live event, as you can see the Virtual Ticket offers you a lot more content - in addition to the sessions you'll undoubtedly miss.
The Virtual Ticket multiplies the content you have access to by 10x or more. It's kind of a no-brainer option at only $97 to add-on to your live event ticket...
Yes, I'm disappointed to miss the event - and a fun trip to New York with Angie - in June. But fortunately we ARE booked to attend in January in Las Vegas, at the next BlogWorld event. Life happens, and things come up.
If you were interested in BlogWorld but couldn't make it either, this Virtual option just may be "your ticket". 😀
Best,
Sorry to hear you guys won't be going. You'll be missed. 🙂
Yeah me too, and we'll miss seeing you there. We'll have to get our local group together soon! And hopefully you'll be going in January and we can all do a BWE hangout then. 😉
Lynn, so sorry you guys won't be there. Guess we'll have to do a late birthday celebration at NAMS instead!
I bought the virtual option as well as the tickets just so that I can catch sessions that I won't necessarily make it to since I know there's at least one day when I have to leave early.
See you in Atlanta!
Me too Sharyn - I am SO glad you'll be at NAMS in August. Will be great to see you then!!
When I see the huge amount of speakers and the quality I would LOVE to go there! I'm sure it's worth to buy the virtual ticket but wow, it would eat into my budget - unfortunately. Hopefully next time I can go there personally with a good money in my pocket made from affiliate marketing 😀
It really was a great event the last time I attended. I'm bummed about missing New York (especially given I've never been) but really glad I could transfer my ticket and look forward to attending in January! I'll be sure to give a heads-up notice when the early bird special starts for that next event, as you can get tickets at a really good rate then. 😉
