PayPerPost has gone through a lot of changes in the last few months, with much growth and expansion. Not only are there many new options for 'posties' (those who post for PPP), but they have attracted a lot of new advertisers as well... and many of them are jumping on the bandwagon with some high-paying opportunities for bloggers.
The launch of PPP's "segmentation system" gives advertisers the opportunity to pay more for high quality postings on well-ranked blogs. Where all of the PPP Bloggers originally 'competed' for the blogging opps, now only certain bloggers qualify for certain opps... creating segmentation, a little competition, and definitely motivation.
Examples of High Paying Opps include:
The segmentation system is multi-faceted. Not only can advertisers require specific PageRank or other ranking criteria, or blogs that focus on specific niches... but they can also 'ban' certain bloggers from taking their 'opps' altogether. There is a rating system in place that allows advertisers to rate bloggers, which affects their overall Tack Rating. This rating will determine whether they qualify for other 'opps' in the pool as well... so it keeps bloggers on their toes.
Personally, I think this is a great motivator for the bloggers as they stive to 'earn points' by providing high-quality reviews and posts for the advertisers that they blog for. Not only are they getting paid to post content to their blogs... but they are improving the quality of their blog long term at the same time. It's a good system, in my opinion.
The last 60 days have brought A LOT of positive changes for those involved with PayPerPost... and there is now more income potential than ever for 'Posties' who simply want to blog for a living...
