The V7 Network, which I refer to as simply "V7N", is home to one of my favorite webmaster forums on the 'net. Outside of my own, of course 😉 . Unfortunately, I havent had the time lately to get actively involved in the discussions, but now that I am caught up on a few personal projects - I plan to dive right back in.
If you're a regular reader, you may remember the V7N forums showing up in my stats as one of my top referrers. Meaning that involvement in the forum gives you a substantial amount of exposure in the webmaster community, and can result in nice little traffic spikes...
Not only is V7N an incredibly active community, but it is also one of the most friendly that I have run across. That is what initially appealed to me, along with the active involvement of John Scott - the site admin.
While the forum is the core of the V7N community, the site actually offers much more. You'll find an SEO Blog, Tech Blog, Internet Marketing Blog, Job Board, Web Directory - and even a Scripts Directory. The main page of the site, at V7N.com, is a great place to start as it includes navigation to all of these sections, as well as highlighted forum discussions.
When you join the forum, you'll be given a full profile page to feature yourself and your work online. Adding in the URL to your blog feed will display a link to your latest blog entry on every forum post. All of the add-ons and features make V7N a great networking tool, allowing the members to easily get to know one another and communicate openly.
