I'm heading out this morning for Vancouver, and then over to Social Media Camp for the weekend. I'll be hanging out with friends in the area, including Tawnya Sutherland of VAnetworking.com who was kind enough to host my visit and a fun meet-up. π
The next week will be a welcome break from my home office and my usual routine. I return home on my birthday, June 7th, spending it doing what I love best: traveling!
Can I just breathe a huge sigh of relief that May is over, and my ambitious commitment to blog every single day in May for the Growing Your List series is behind me?? I don't know about you, but I'm impressed I made it the entire 31 days! (haha) This little get-away is definitely great timing...
I'll be sharing tips from the event and photos along the way on both Twitter and Facebook. If we're not connected there yet, you'll find me here:

Meanwhile I have a fun Interview in queue for you next. It will publish tomorrow (June 2nd). Keep an eye out for that - it's from a 19 year old kid with a successful niche website!
Best,
Looking forward to hear what insights you gain from social media camp this weekend! By the way, I think the Grow Your List series was super successful!
Thank you Graham! π
Have a spectacular time. Eager to follow your adventures in the SM Camp!
Great time to escape the heat here in TN!
Best,
Martha
No doubt, Martha - the heat was brutal! lol It is *much* cooler here in Vancouver. Very nice! We'll be heading to Victoria today to get checked in, and the event starts in the morning. I am looking forward to it - camera charged & ready, notebook in hand!
Congratulations for completing the mini-marathon π
It was hugely educational for me and in the end i just had to cherry pick one or two of the items and work on them until I fully understood them. It's nice to know I can check back anytime I am ready to continue.
I already installed the 'Slickr Flickr' plug-in as recommended http://www.clicknewz.com/2882/wordpress-plugins/
...and I am not even sure it was a part of this course!
Have a great trip
Rich
Thank you Rich π I am so glad you found it useful! I will wrap up the entire series so it can be easily downloaded, saved, shared or printed. Tons of golden nuggets across that series!
I wish you a nice trip. You've been really working hard. And this is what made your blog one of the best blogs ever. Have fun! π
Thank you Mark! π
The "jetsetter" ventures out AGAIN! You need to save up for a Gulfstream! LOL
Have fun!

LOL I do have a heavy travel schedule this month - and the entire summer, really. Looking forward to it all!! The travel day yesterday, and then winding down here last night and this morning, was *great*. It's nice to be out of the office. I'm feeling particularly inspired & creative. π
Welcome to Vancouver Lynn. I live just south of Vancouver. I hope you enjoyed your stay. You came at a fun time with hockey fever; hope you enjoyed the city spirit.
I'll be here for a few days. Actually we are going to Victoria today, but back late Saturday. If you're free on Monday the 6th, we might all be able to get together for a quick lunch or afternoon coffee before I fly back. π
Thanks for the offer Lynn. Any other time I'd love to attend, but I'm off to Hawaii on Saturday June 4.
If you get this in time, check out the incredible lunch at the Victoria Empress Hotel downtown Victoria if you need a place to eat. It's a spectacular dining room serving an Indian lunch (last time I was there; you might want to check with them if they still serve it). I try to go enjoy the Empress lunch everytime I'm in Victoria.
Next time then - enjoy your trip! And thank you for the lunch tip. We'll check it out. π
Your article series about the social media is very informative and you have run it very successfully. To read each day tip I visited your blog time and again.Enjoyed with knowledge.
Wow, have fun with your trip
The event was really interesting - for a number of reasons. You'll find my recap here: http://www.clicknewz.com/2890/social-media-camp-2011-recap/ π
