31GYL Day 7: How To Attract Super Affiliates

On Day Six of the Growing Your List challenge we discussed how to approach potential JV partners with your offer. Today we'll look at ways you can attract Super Affiliates...

For Day Seven, refer to pages 19-21 in the
31 Day Guide to Growing Your List

As we discussed on Day Five, there is a difference between JV Partners and Affiliates. If you do not have a paid product, you won't be setting up an affiliate program - you can continue working on your Joint Ventures.

But if you do, or if you decide to create a product to build a list of buyers, you'll definitely want to bring Super Affiliates on board in addition to your JV partners...

Working With Super Affiliates

Super Affiliates are a rare breed. Generally speaking they are super busy, super distracted, super successful, super hard to reach (or at least get a response from), super demanding, and have super-sized egos. They love being seen at the top of a leader board even more than they love the big fancy prize they won for topping it.

I'm kidding, of course. Sort of. 🙂

We've already discussed where to find JV Partners and how to recruit Super Affiliates. Today's topic is all about attracting Super Affiliates, or what you can offer them above and beyond what you offer in your public affiliate program...

  • Set up Tiers for Performance Incentives

I personally have been using payspree for my affiliate program because it allows you to pay affiliates instantly. People that are interested can take a look here: http://payspree.com/r/3294 (yes that's my affiliate link). Plus, it's really easy to set up. You can do recurring products and dimesales.

I have found that I really like eJunkie. I had heard some "iffy" things about it; however, once I took a few minutes to figure it out, it became very easy to use. Plus, it's inexpensive.

Offering daily commissions sounds really enticing. Liked this list terry, particularly the leader board contest, it's practically a good ego bait for super affiliates to really amplify sales 🙂

This is giving back total value to everyone who has been served and will absolutely ask for more service. I was just wondering how can we integrate this affiliate programs to our free legal resources services.

  5. Lynn,

Great post. I just have a question. Obviously, there is some cost to promoting your product with a specific affiliate company. I remember I was going to promote a product with Clickbank back in the day, and they had a pretty hefty fee. Do you know what the fees are for the affiliate programs you've mentioned? Which of them do you recommend as well?

    Cheers,
    Eric

    • ClickBank setup is only around $50 - not bad. I recommend different solutions for different models. For example, ClickBank is only for digital products, not physical.
