I'm guessing you've heard of Teespring by now, but there's one thing I wish I had known before I signed up!
I totally missed out on the chance to make an extra $1,000 on it - and I'd hate for you to miss out on that too.
More on that in a second, along with what I've earned with Teespring so far.
First I want to answer a few questions about what it is and how it works, and WHY you should be using it!

Teespring is a cool site where you can create fun T-shirts at absolutely no cost to you, and sell them for profit. All you do is create a shirt using their images (or your own) along with your own sayings. It literally only takes a few minutes to set it up and start earning money!
The first time I sat down to sign up and create my first Teespring campaign, I expected it to take a lot longer than it did. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was! I was also impressed with it as a fun new revenue source for my niche site.
That quick test resulted in a $253 payout:

* They said it may take up to four days to receive the payout, but I actually got the payment straight in my PayPal account in a matter of hours. Nice!

This is the part I really wish I had known before I got started myself.

Since there's no upfront cost, and actually no cost to you at all, it's similar to affiliate marketing as a source of revenue. There's also no customer service to do, no shipping to worry with, no hassle period. They take care of everything!
You simply create, promote & get paid.
There's no cost, and no risk whatsoever, so it's super easy to test out. It literally only takes a few minutes to set up a niche product to sell, too - so why not try it out, right? I was pleasantly surprised at how well my first test went! 🙂

Teespring FAQ
Since I started testing this out lately, several people have asked me about it.
Here's what I've learned so far...
- There's NO cost - upfront or otherwise. It's EASY and fast. They sell well.
- You can offer a variety of styles & colors, including: tanks, v-neck t-shirts, tee's & hoodies. see this example (use the drop down menu to see styles/colors)
- They have a database of images you can use in your shirt designs, and several fonts to choose from for the text. You can also upload your own images & image text if you prefer. If you want a unique design, you can get something designed CHEAP at Fiverr.com to put on your T-shirts.
- Have a T-shirt campaign that does REALLY well? You can relaunch it again later, or copy that campaign and modify it any way you like, then launch it again. They make it super easy!
- Your Teespring sales page is responsive and mobile friendly, making it easy for people to buy the product from any device - including their iPhone.
There are a variety of ways to monetize your site or blog, and you should use as many of those as you possibly can. At the very least, test a wide variety of things to find out firsthand what works best in YOUR niche.
There's BIG money and there's EASY money.
You should go for BOTH.
Take creating a premium digital product as one example. Yes it's more profitable, but it's also a lot more work upfront, plus ongoing management. Obviously it's a great way to monetize your business, and one I highly recommend.
On the flipside, Teespring is much lower revenue - but it's also MUCH less work! It's so simple to set up a campaign, so the money is easy. Real easy. 🙂
After testing it out with great results, I set up another Tee to sell this week, with two more in the works. You really can't beat it for "easy money". Plus it's FUN!

Hi Barbara! I used the graphics and fonts they offered on Teespring to create my design, but yes - you can use Photoshop if you want and upload your own image, or have one created for you on Fiverr.com even. But they have lots of clipart and several good fonts you can use too. 🙂

1. A Mommy Plus More: I have had it for a couple of years now. Haven't really done anything with it. When I initially created it, I wanted to motivate and inspire other moms by sharing my "life lessons" as a mom of 5, pastor's wife and trying to make money online via e-commerce as well as offering words of encouragement. But I thought, "How can I make money from that?" So I stopped it.
2. Busy Moms Getting Healthy: Helping busy moms live a healthy life via eating right, exercise and other natural choices.
3. Rocking My Locs: I have locs similar to dreadlocks and I was going to talk about my journey in getting them long and healthy.
4. Beauty on a Budget: helping busy moms get beautiful on a budget by using Avon products.
5. New Mommy Coaching: offering advice and support for first time moms by sharing what I have learned along the way with my 5.
My tshirt design was based on a popular slogan "Won't He Do It?" It generated a lot of likes when I ran the FB ad but only 2 sales, and they were from a friend of mine.
1... Forget the "how can I make money from that" ... think more, How can I be what I want to be on that and get the following I need... without looking, I'd say just BE yourself... and wholeheartedly... others will relate to that and the "money" comes in anyway later.. you just build the readership first. 😉 Give it EVERYTHING.. and more. 😉 Post three times a week with a long detailed and enjoyable post...
2... have the second blog as a part of the first one. 😉 just a link to it on 1. Do this one daily, short but fun and interesting post... food pics etc. 😉
3... make this a youtube channel... 😉 link to it from 1. Involve one of the kids a cameraboy/girl, they will enjoy filming you and you'll feel relaxed as they are there..but picture in mind your perfect audience member. do it for that one person. 😉
4... Do this as well, link to it from 1. its part of your path 😉
5... great idea, you share that experience... 😉

I think all of those topics could, and should, be wrapped up into one domain - one one site/blog. Make it a personal blog, rather than trying to go too topical and spreading yourself across so many sites. I talk about all sorts of topics on TravelingLowCarb.com - food, weight loss, motivation, travel, fitness - but I do it ALL on that one domain. Keep it simple! ALL of those domains/topics are ultimately about YOU.
Talk, be you, build an audience. Focus on the audience aspect. Once you have an audience, you can monetize - in so many different ways! 🙂 *cheers*

I assume you already have an audience for your blog, yes? Post a blog post (with a keyword title). Email your list. Post on all your social channels, and use the appropriate hashtags. Have some fun with it!

They don't provide a t-shirt for you, no - but I ordered one myself. Then I took photos and relaunched the campaign with a photo of me wearing it. 🙂 So YES, wearing it is a great way to increase your sales - and they make it super easy to copy or relaunch a campaign.
