Who Are Alice & Ron, and Is This Legit?

I mistakenly assumed that everyone in my circle would be familiar with Alice Seba and Ron Douglas. I've known Alice for more than a decade, I'd guess closer to 12 years, and we've done a bit of work together before. Ron is newer to my friend circle, but his credentials and personality combined gained my respect fast when we met recently in San Diego. Here's a photo of Alice and I on that same trip earlier this year:

Alice Seba and Lynn Terry

Alice has been working in the content / writing market for ages - for as long as I can remember. Ron Douglas is "a New York Times Best Selling Author who’s sold over one million books and ebooks and been featured on Fox News, Good Morning America, and in People Magazine". You can read both of their bios here.

There's a 60 Day Guarantee, so you literally have nothing to lose.

Easily Find Writing Jobs Online

Like I said earlier, I was looking through the job listings for writers myself last night... and this is what I said on Facebook:

Whoa! I just hit the motherload of Writing Job Listings!

There are enough jobs listed inside this site to keep someone in a sweet "work at home" position. But there also tons of paid writing opportunities that will give you awesome exposure TOO. This is what appealed to me personally, given I'm already in business online. Some of the opps are PERFECT for me, and a great way to get in front of my target market... and get paid to do it. πŸ™‚

Here's a screenshot of what I was looking at:

Writing Job Listings

These are just a few of the featured listings you'll find inside...

There's a whole SLEW of writing opps! This is such a great way to make money easily, or even a good work at home job if you want to just write stress-free. πŸ™‚

As you can see just from this brief view, there are tons of different types of writing jobs to choose from, including:

  • creative writing jobs
  • entry level writing jobs

How Much Can You Earn With Writing Jobs?

There are too many variables for me to be able to answer that question. Plus I'm not allowed (legally) to make income claims. It depends on how many hours you want to work online, your skill level, the types of writing jobs you prefer, etc. I will say this though: the potential is HUGE, and Writers Help Wanted is an extensive resource for anyone that wants writing opps. Here's a little inspiration for you:

Writing Jobs

This is not JUST a job listings site, although the listings are the thing that impressed ME the most. But it also includes detailed training for a person that is looking to get started with writing jobs. They teach you everything you need to know.

You'll learn:

  • How to navigate writing markets
  • How to qualify for writing jobs
  • How to establish a Writing Service Business
  • How to develop persuasive writing skills
  • How to earn Passive Income with writing
  • ... and more

They've really gone above and beyond. This is an amazing resource...

Enjoy! πŸ™‚

Best,

p.s. Alice gave me full access to check out the product, knowing how picky I am about products - and about what I share with you here, especially as an affiliate. I honestly didn't expect it to be a good match, or even something I would use myself. I was wrong. I'm seriously impressed, and WHW totally exceeded my expectations!

Now that I've checked it out, and see that I'm going to use it myself, I'll be going back and purchasing access - because not only is it super-cheap and totally worth every penny, but I know I'll make that $47 back over and again with these resources...

  1. I signed up for this yesterday. As a complete rookie and ..... well old enough to be an empty nester with lots of time, I thought I would do something I have long wanted to do. This I hope will give me the confidence to follow through and finally start a website, no a kick ass website! I have been preaching the Lynn Terry blogs to the family so long they now just agree with me. I have already gone through more than 50% of the workshops included and am looking forward to REALLY digging into all they have to offer. Also they have a link to learning from Suzanne Lieurance who offers tons of how-too's. Thanks for posting it on your "Niche Blog FB" page.

    • You're welcome, Louise! πŸ™‚ I feel confident you'll LOVE this site, especially once you dig in to the job listings and start taking some writing jobs for pay. OR just monetizing your own content, which you can learn inside too. Enjoy! And congrats on taking fast action. This is an amazing resource. πŸ™‚

  2. Interesting, is this the kind of site where you bid for the writing jobs?

    • Hi Jedha πŸ™‚

No, these are real online jobs (writing, editing, etc) that you can apply for from all over the web. There are tons of opportunities in there, and a lot of training on how to set yourself up in business as a writer as well.

The bidding sites like freelance and fiverr are what you're referring to I am guessing, and those are all super low rates for your work compared to the jobs listed in WHW.

  3. I just joined today so I'll have to see how it goes. I did have one challenge when I listened to the first video: My computer shut off from overheating, something I thought I'd fixed a long time ago. The video was very long. I'll have to check that one out because I see there's a lot of videos in the education program.

Also, according to the list of offerings, you do indeed have to bid on a lot of the jobs just as you would on Elance, the former Odesk or any other sites like those. But again, I haven't had a chance to get started yet because I still haven't finished listening to that first video. I really hope I can play it and the others without overheating.

I'm already freelancing as an editor and one of the main reasons I signed up here was the offer of help in building a website. I still don't have one because every time I try, it turns out horrible. I don't need it to be perfect, just professional looking. I also want to add writing to my editing services. And finally, I need help in applying to my first jobs here as I have no other job at the moment.

Hope those are good reasons for joining! I've found everything Lynn offers to be on the up-and-up, so I feel on the right track, so to speak. πŸ™‚

    • How odd, Ana! I hope you're able to get that issue resolved. I'm not much for video myself, so I am downloading the training modules & checklists - which are pure GOLD! The more I go through those, the more impressed I am with the level of training & resources - especially for the price. πŸ™‚

Thank you too for the kind words! There is a 60 day guarantee on this, but I am pretty sure you'll LOVE all the great writing opps and resources... *cheers*

  4. Just grabbed it and there is so much. I'm looking forward to digging in to the checklists and checking out all the writing offers. Great recommendation, thanks.

  5. Oooh... I can't WAIT till I have a website all my own, and I also can't wait till I learn how to use Twitter 'cause I already have an account; I just don't know how to use it. I don't even know if I ever made up a username. πŸ™‚

Thanks for the response, Lynn. You said you weren't much for videos. Here's another question: Could I get away without having to depend on video if I continued having problems? I really have no money to get this repaired till I get some more gigs. It'd be awesome if I could just read for now.

    • Sure, Ana - there is plenty to read & work on without having to play the videos. You can save those for later, since you have unlimited access. πŸ™‚

If you need help with Twitter, let me know. Happy to help!

  6. Decided to start paying for articles on sports, concert, and theatre events, and wondered how much they're worth. Found your Google+ post.

Looks like I could budget about $200 per week.

  7. That is awesome!! Thank you so much for posting this. I was really looking for another job where I can work from home and make money other thank just my regular job. I am excited to try this! Do you recommend the elite membership for 1.00 extra?

    • Hi Jossie πŸ™‚ You're welcome!

Anything Alice & Ron put together is GREAT, so that's a personal choice - if it's something you feel will help you even more, I say: go for it. πŸ˜‰ They have their guarantees and policies stated clearly to help you make a decision, but it's really up to you and what you feel will help you most. *cheers*

  8. Mary Hughes says

Just wondering if there would be any jobs for Canadians or is this strictly for U.S. residents. Thanks in advance

    • Hi Mary πŸ™‚ Anyone, in any location, can do writing jobs from home!

Alice is actually in Canada too. πŸ™‚ She's the one that runs the site.

  9. Mary Hughes says

Hi Lynn, I joined last night but have yet to receive anything. Is this normal?
    Thanks, Mary

    • Hi Mary, You'll want to check your junk/spam email folders and see if you missed the instructions (if they got filtered out). And if you can't find it there, just contact support. They'll get you taken care of. πŸ˜‰
