I like Tim Castleman. 🙂 Good luck figuring out which one he is in the photo (lol), because I'm always mixing him up with Colin Theriot and tagging the wrong one!

Tim is a cool guy, great personality, always a lot of fun. I love running into him at events and following his (always entertaining) Facebook and Instagram updates.
BUT he just released a new product called The 120 Method I DON'T recommend for you.
I'll explain, and if you already bought it don't back out - I'll tell you why on that too. 😉
I'm on Tim's affiliate list, so I'm an affiliate for his products because I love and promote his Traffic & Conversion Summit Notes (and buy them myself!).
I got a review copy of this new "120 Method" product, but I decided to pay for it out of my own pocket anyway - because it intrigued me, and I because felt it would be worth the (small) investment. And because I like Tim. usually. 🙂
Let me backtrack.
I realize my subject line is a bit harsh, but...
Tim (or his product I should say) caused me some undue stress last night. LATE last night even, because I was at Wal-Mart at 12:42am (NOT my favorite place at ANY hour) - and then had to make a quick (totally unplanned) run out of town this morning too - BOTH of which were his fault. 😛
First: Why I do NOT recommend this product for YOU.
It's called The 120 Method. You can read about it on that page. It's only $27 this weekend - until Sunday night at 11:59pm Eastern.
Keep in mind these points are JUST my personal opinion:
- This method probably won't work for you.
- This method COULD work for you, but there are some iffy variables.
- If you're easily offended - at all, in any way - NO.
- I really dislike Facebook Live. I don't do it. I don't watch it. I don't like it. When I get a notification someone else is doing it, I'm like "WHYYYY?!" lol - Ugh!
- You don't have an audience yet, at all. Or ANY friends - and don't want any.
- He makes it *seem* (strongly) this method will only work with IM products.
- I'm not 100% sure he actually showed HOW he made money with this method, or how well it converted or whatever. In hindsight I felt like maybe I missed something there... because I understand what he did, but didn't actually SEE how the numbers played out. Or I just missed it 😛 which is possible!
- This method does NOT depend on doing Facebook Live, but you may not catch on to that point if you're not very bright, so you'd miss the point and this product would be a total waste of $27 for you.
I probably just gave away too much... but not really.
I have to admit, for me personally, the entertainment factor alone made it worth EVERY penny. 🙂 When he mentioned the track suits, I literally laughed out loud... because I was there for that:
Back to what happened last night...
I was probably somewhere between page 15-18 (of 26 pages of thick content) - when I got a brilliant idea (that I've done before and totally forgot about) - and got up from my desk and DID IT. That idea/task alone will easily pay back my small investment on this product 10x over - at least!!! And within a matter of DAYS even.
I'm big on that: implement ideas ON THE SPOT.
Do it while it's hot & fresh. 😉
It helps if you can just easily get up and do a quick task, which is exactly what I aimed to do... but then my printer went blank. I mean, it just started printing blank pages in the middle of this HUGE print job I was really excited about. Grr.
That's when I had to run to Wal-Mart in the middle of the night, to get a new ink cartridge thingy of course. And then... that didn't work either. 😐
Then I was up late researching places to get some files printed off (same day, in my middle-of-nowhere town) before I head out on my next trip - um, tomorrow. 😛
Which is why I made a quick trip out of town this morning - to go borrow a home office and working printer from a friend, so I could get this DONE:
You probably do not want me taking over your home office, because I bring my own tunes and make a big mess and jam out -lol.
Tim also convinced me to try Facebook Live. 🙄 That will also pay back in spades I'm sure, because you can "go live" in groups, and my niche group has over 110,000 active members... that would LOVE to "see me" and hear my updates.;)

You don't have to be an expert, or even high tech, to do Tim's 120 Method. I'm not. Well, you may think I'm "an expert" - and at online marketing I am. I have over 20 years experience at that. But in MY NICHE ... no, I'm not an expert.
I was a total unknown in that market when I started there a little over 6 years ago and had to start from scratch (and take some heat even, lol).
Anyway, in that niche I market as a NON expert, and it works GREAT. 😉
Everything he said, I agreed with - from many years of personal experience.
What he says on the 120 Method page is true: this strategy doesn't require an email list or a website or creating your own product or anything...
Please refer back to my bullet points above if you're on the fence or curious about this product. Again, I am not recommending it for you!
If you DO decide to buy this product... here's my link.:) And/Or if you already purchased this product - either way: Do not request a refund. I don't care how bad you hate it, how offended you are by his jokes or his language, or whatever the case.
Here's why...
When you request a refund on a digital training product, sure you get your money back - but you cannot get your time back. Ever. It's GONE. So my advice: figure out a way to MAKE money on the time you invested.
You can't NOT get at least ONE idea that is going to pay back what you spent AND more than cover the time you spent on it too. 😉 You just can't! If you have any brains at all, and obviously you do - because you're an entrepreneur, right? That's what entrepreneurs do: they think smart.
Like I said, I agree with Tim's method and the concept behind it. In fact, I've been using that method for years - just not in the way he did. Which was brilliant, by the way. And it DID give me some GREAT ideas for physical niche products I'm lined up to promote this week (food products, in my weight loss niche) - and reminded me to do something COOL that I've done before and totally forgot about... that increased my affiliate conversions dramatically.
So I'll definitely be getting a NICE (big fat) return on that little investment! Plus there was the entertainment factor I mentioned, lol... and a good hard laugh is worth A LOT to me. 🙂
So that's my take on the brand new 120 Method product that Tim Castleman just released. It may be a total waste of $27 for you (if you are easily offended, don't like humor, and can't do creative thinking). OR... if you don't have time for a brilliant idea, and don't want to earn some cool cash on said idea.
As for me, I'm now totally behind schedule getting on the road for my next trip (Thanks, Tim! 🙄 lol), but it is going to be SO worth it!! 🙂
