In my last post I mentioned joining Rosalind Gardner's new membership site at Affiliate Blogging Pro.
Outside of a few mentions, I haven't really talked much about it. I've been meaning to write a review and just hadn't done it yet. But after I mentioned it again in that post, Isobel asked me for some insider details...
Isobel asks: Lynn, can you give a bit more info about Affiliate Blogger Pro please? Only a small part of the sales page is about the product itself. Is it delivered all at once or on a weekly/monthly basis? Does it focus on paid or free traffic etc?
I should probably start by telling you why I joined Rosalind's new site. I am not a member of many forums or groups anymore, and am very selective about my memberships. I like to belong only to things where I can justify the investment of time, and that are in line with my personal goals.
And let me just say, if you can't make it to live events and workshops like I mentioned in the last post, this is the kind of training and home study you need.

As you know, I am already a successful super affiliate and I originally learned the niche affiliate marketing methods that I use from Rosalind Garder. Her
Super Affiliate Handbook was the very first info product I ever purchased online. It completely changed my business, and dramatically improved my income. 😀
I joined Affiliate Blogger Pro because I want to stay on top of the ever changing affiliate landscape, and also because I am a huge fan of anything that Rosalind Gardner offers. I study her Super Affiliate Handbook at least once a year, every year since I originally purchased it, but this new site gives me direct access to what she's doing right now - and to Rosalind Gardner herself!

Is the training delivered all at once or on a weekly/monthly basis?
The affiliate training inside Affiliate Blogger Pro is all available, to every member, all the time. There is no drip format, or waiting for the next lesson. This gives everyone the opportunity to start wherever they are - whether a new affiliate marketer or a seasoned affiliate professional.
It's actually very cool on the inside. The layout is really clean so it makes it super easy to navigate everything available. Here's a screenshot of today's dashboard inside the ABP members area:

Does Affiliate Blogger Pro focus on paid or free traffic, etc?
There is no specific focus on traffic-types. She covers a wide variety of free methods for getting traffic to your blog or affiliate site.
In the screenshot below, you can see the actual Traffic section. This is just the intro page - there are detailed tutorials and links to more in-depth training on each of those topics, in each of those sections:
She teaches you how to get traffic from Flickr, gives you a HUGE list of social networking & bookmarking sites - broken down by category/niche, even!, has RSS and Email Marketing lessons, etc. She even has specific how-to videos in the traffic section to show you how to set up feedburner, add a subscription form to your blog, set up a sitemap and blog broadcasts...
It's very well done, and as you can see from the screenshots I shared from my account - there's tons of content on the inside. The community forum is probably my personal favorite - where you can ask questions, learn from other members, and even get help & answers from Rosalind Gardner herself.
Like I said above, at only $27/month, Affiliate Blogger Pro is a no-brainer for any affiliate marketer. I hope you'll join Rosalind and I there, and get a jump start on your niche affiliate sites for the New Year!

I certainly wouldn't boil it down to that, no. It's an in-depth and interactive training community that teaches you how to successfully make money online with affiliate marketing.

I am a member of very few places, as I mentioned in the post. I would analyze your memberships and choose where you really want to invest your time and energy. It helps with focus, and it really helps if you get more involved in fewer places, community-wise.

Most welcome, Melissa! I was actually quietly enjoying this one to myself (lol) until I learned the price was going up in January - in just a few weeks. Figured I better share the details, and recommend it now, while it's still so cheap!
Why does Ros don't show her actual earnings from 2009 or 2010? Since 2002 a lot have changed on the Internet ..( In 2002, I earned a whopping $436,797 US in affiliate commissions (then worth $657,801 CDN) and now I earn much more!)). Hype? What does she have to hide?
If you follow Rosalind's blogs and Facebook updates, you'll see she's very transparent. I never show my full income numbers, and I don't need to see hers either. Don't let skepticism get in your way if you could benefit from solid help from someone that is actually successful at what she teaches. That's a rare thing in our industry!
Is there a trial program of this course? I want to start for a trial.
No, there is not a trial option. There is entirely too much training & information available the minute you log in, for it to be set up as a trial. It's well worth the price to check it out, and absorb the information, even if you don't plan to stay involved long term.

This sounds like a truly a great teaching tool and a guide for making changes in ways to earn an income.
Am I correct that there is $97 sign up fee in addition to the $27 per month membership fee?
Ahh yes - and I should have mentioned that, so thank you for bringing that up! The reason is because ALL of the content is available the minute you register and log in, so it's common to to have an entry fee to avoid people who take advantage of these systems - and attract those who are interested in a real ongoing learning relationship (ie Action Takers).
Lynn I am a big fan of Rosalind Gardner in all she does and says with regards to Affiliate Marketing. I am a complete newbie and presently in the middle researching a Niche business to start using SBI which I am a member, it was therefore with great interest that I read "Affiliate Blogger Pro" but I am not clear just how it works or what one has to do. One other thing with all the information that comes with the course it is obviously a stand alone business and one that will require your full attention to be successful as it will with SBI. I have not committed myself to the SBI niche and could therefore change if I wanted to, but as I said I am not sure what is involed or the potential to make money and how. Are you able to help with this matter it would be a big help as I am a bit stuck at a cross road not knowing which way to go due to lack of knowledge. Thank you John
I already pay monthly for UAW... since Rosalind preaches fewer rather than many sites, can you succeed without article or backlinking services?
I'm not sure what UAW is, but to answer your question - any site you create requires some type of marketing strategy. I don't use backlinking services, but do get backlinks. And also do Article Marketing.
Note: Rosalind is raising the price on Friday January 7th. The new price will be $197 plus $47/month. Get in before Friday and lock in the $27/mo rate! 😉
UAW is Unique Article Wizard, sends out your article to different places. So you're saying a person, like me, can get enough traffic on their own without paying for links in any way?..that would be great.

I started out with the guide, and find myself referring back to that more often than the membership - but that's just me. I do have both, but tend to work better with a structure and with less distraction. It all comes down to personality types, I'm sure, and I do like also having the community to pop in and get answers to certain things when I want to.

Lynn, I bought the super affiliate handbook through u lynn. A little confused though we download so I'm a complete newbie how does Rosaland keep it updated. Also, from your opinion what do u think about wealthy affiliate. If I can ask about the blogger pro and wealthy affiliate. The same thing? I am also thinking about what I can skinny down that I have joined.

You definitely want to keep your memberships down to a level where you can be fully engaged in what you invest in - which includes both your time and your money. Whether it's paid groups like membership sites or free groups like forums and facebook groups - staying focused on the things that are in line with your objectives is key!
