Fun to open the mail 'with you' again! Absolutely loved the book from Roey and Gene! The dog on the cover was way too cute! (But the 'riding the Dane' - noooo! People always think they, or their children, can 'ride' my Puppy....drives me crazy!!) The finger - OMG! But total attention grabber - yes! And I can just 'see' the old ladies in the post office. LOL! You look really great and the balcony, as always, looks and sounds so peaceful and cozy!
(And loved getting to hear Slim - fun!)
Thank you Lisa π LOL Slim is an attention hog! haha I absolutely love my "outdoor office". Especially this time of year! And yeah, Roey rocks... that was definitely my favorite package. π
"And yeah, Roey rocks... that was definitely my favorite package"
Roey's MY favorite package, too π
Bwahahaha! Love it, Gene! π
LOL! π
I'm glad you liked the book, Lynn π
There were so many cute, sweet, and funny photos... too bad it had that "no-no" photo as well. That reminds me of the commercial with the talking baby who gets put in a time out because, "Apparantly riding the dog like it is a small horse is frowned upon in this establishment!..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmw23Ad9aLM
Oh, and Lynn, your "back office" is beautiful!
Thanks for the links to Kristin Eckstein's blog and her book, "21 Ways to Write & Publish Your Non-Fiction Book." Your timing is amazing. That is exactly what I have been working on. I just ordered the book and can't wait to read it.
I think you'll really enjoy her book. And Kristen too, if you haven't already connected with her. She's great!
Thank you again for the nice gift. That was so incredibly thoughtful. I am madly in love with my giant lap dog π I'll have to get him to join me on camera one of these days!
LOL, I would say STOPPING him getting on camera would be the "problem" π I imagine him wandering into shot, looking all innocent "Oh, are you taping?" and then this big cheezy grin to camera!
He is such a poser - every time I point ANY kind of device at him he gets in position for a shot LOL. Too funny. I'll have to get him on camera. He's a hoot!
Linkbait Generator (http://www.linkbaitgenerator.com/) is awesome. Never heard of it before. One of my weakest blogging skills is coming up with titles.
I may not use the titles generated by linkbait generator, but it sure gives out excellent ideas. This will become one of my key blogging tools - and it's free. Thanks for sharing Lynn.
I'm glad you found it helpful, Peter! Like you, I often use it just for brainstorming. It's great for helping me come up with creative blog post ideas, newsletter subject lines, etc. Very cool.
Thanks so much for the kind words, Lynn and Peter. I had such a blast coming up with the idea and seeing Lynn's reaction on the video. My brainstorming with Lynn on the Elite Forum has been amazing - I'll be eternally grateful π
Peter: I've just rolled out the next database version of the web marketing linkbait generator (LinkbaitGenerator.com/marketing) which should give you more targeted web marketing-related ideas. Please drop me a line, I would love to hear your feedback.
Jon
How could you leave us hanging like that - what novels did you get? lol. I'm looking for something juicy to read for the Summer.
Another fun mail video.
Cheers,
Missy
p.s. I too use the Linkbait Generator - cool site!
I bought the last two novels (5 & 6) in the Earth Child Series by Jean Auel. I'm a long-time fan of the series. I read book #5 when it came out a few years ago, but thought I'd read it again before devouring #6 π
If you haven't read them yet, I liked Eat Pray Love and Committed by Elizabeth Gilbert. The movie wasn't worth watching (don't bother) but both books are really enjoyable.
I like sci-fi too. We should get Tracy Roberts over here to comment - she always gives me great titles to dig into! π
Wish my office was as nice as your backdoor office. Congrats on the Ipod shuffle and the 100 Dollar check. How did that finger ever get past customs!
I know, right π
I really love working on the deck this time of year. Not too hot, not too cold... just right! It won't be long before the humidity and mosquitoes have me working inside again. π
That's a cool set of mails. π
I'm still hoping to win an iPad 2...
From PayPal? I can't remember now what their grand prize was, but it got my attention at the time. I guess they're giving away iPad 2's all over the place right now. Not me... just some lame old touch screen computer thing (lol).
I still love my original iPad. No plans to upgrade or trade in just yet. I have it set up just like I want it!
Hi Lynn! I love your outdoor office:) I don't know what the fascination is with watching you open your mail, but I sit and watch every time. So glad, you've brought it back:) Keep up the great work and showing us the importance of being yourself. Much love to you and your family.
Thank you Tiffany π
I am really enjoying my new Canon Vixia HD cam. It makes video easy, and I am still exploring all the features & options. I hope to get more regular mail videos out from here forward!
You got super cool mail this week! I love peeking into your mailbox every now and then. Cracked me up when you pitched the spammy mail LOL
That was awful of me. I can't believe I haven't been blasted for that one (yet). I love Send Out Cards as a company and as a general concept... but so many internet marketers are using it now that it's lost it's appeal on me.
Send me a real package with the product in it that you want me to review/promote - or something funny or cool. Like one marketer sent me a boomerang once, with a JV request. I opened that one! π
I hate the idea of stepping on toes, but it's hard to hold back my honest reactions just because the camera's rolling. π
