How Often Do You Post To Your Blog(s)?

Coming up with blog topics, or things to post about, is a problem I doubt I'll ever run into. In fact, I seem to have the opposite problem - and debate on whether it's bad to post too frequently.

At the moment I have NINE posts in draft (not including this one) and am trying to pace them a bit so that nobody realizes just how much I can gab. 😆

To top it off, I have 3 new blogs that I am planning to roll out over the next six weeks. One of which I'll share with you pretty soon. It's a fun little idea!

Anyway, for those interested, I found a great entry on Problogger: How Often Should A Blogger Post? Equally as interesting as the tips that Darren shares are the 38 (and counting) comments posted below his entry. You may find that this gives you some great insight into the minds of readers! (I know I did 😉 )

I'd love to hear how you manage your own blog, what your "rhythm of posting" is (random, scheduled?) and how frequently you post. And I'd also love to hear your thoughts about what you prefer as a reader...

  1. What a great setup! I imagine having a co-blogger makes it real easy to keep things on a roll.

  2. On Aridni, my sister and I post six times a week.

She posts on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
I post on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

We Generally shoot for 9:00 in the morning, give or take an hour.

That's our method, and it seems to be working out well.

  3. Hi Robert,

Actually that is how Google's Link Units are set up. Each link takes you to a specific page with more resources on that particular topic.

It is part of the Google Adsense program.

    HTH,

  4. 4-6 times a week. It really depends on my mood and if I have feel I have something to blog about.

  5. It's interesting to hear about everyone's style - from scheduled to random. It's definitely easier to blog when you feel inspired, I must admit. For this reason, I'll often create several drafts when I'm particularly "chatty" and then publish individual posts I have saved on the days I dont feel quite as inspired to write.

But so far, since moving here (to ClickNewz.com), I havent ran into any major 'dry spells'. I'm having quite a time! ... and so blogging at least once a day, and sometimes as often as 3x/day.

  6. Just a heads up when you click anyway of the five links at the top of your page such as "seo blog" they all go to to your "ads by google". I doubt this is what you wanted

  7. Then again, maybe there supposed to do that.Your option but seems to be overkill.

This is a very timely article I stumbled upon... thanks for the post and for directing me to Dennis' post, it really helps a lot. I am just starting to create my blog and think I will post four times a week.

    To your success,
    Candace
