I'm definitely seeing quite a stir about this topic recently; on whether social media is effective or not. I, for one, have been firm about social media's "indirect" but "definitely clear" effect on one's traffic.
So I totally agree that one should start immediately on including social media on one's marketing strategies. This live training is quite interesting. I'm going to look more into it.

Defining a Social Media Goal in my opinion should be the very first step in defining a Social Media Strategy
