(EASY) Create Stunning Social Media Graphics

creating graphicsI'm having tons of fun creating social media graphics!

Let me start by saying... I stink at graphics. πŸ˜› It is definitely NOT my strong suit. That being the case, I'm inclined to outsource creative graphics for my social media channels.

Why? Quality graphics, images & Infographics are great for "share bait"! They also get a much higher rate of engagement than other types of social media updates (such as text updates or links) across all platforms.

Outsourcing graphics is a great idea, but that can get REALLY expensive if you're putting out the amount of image content you really need to be across the web - consistently.

My solution: Graphic Templates!

Better yet, CHEAP Graphic Templates! πŸ˜€

And unlike outsourcing, it's a one time low-cost investment instead of an ongoing expense. I'll show you some live examples, and where you can get these graphics packages super cheap...

Note: You don't need expensive image editing software. You can edit PSD (Photoshop) files FREE at Pixlr.com, or you can download Adobe Photoshop CS2 for free.

You may remember the Infographics Templates I mentioned here on ClickNewz last year? Those are the templates I'm using to create a variety of web graphics.

I bought the main package plus the "Infographics IM Edition PLUS" and "Marketing Graphics Pack" that were offered super cheap after my order.

You can see the details in this post. Like I mentioned in that post, these graphic templates can be used for practically anything - in any niche!

As one example, I used the templates to create a Facebook Group Cover Graphic. Here's the "before & after" - the first image was my quickie attempt on my own, and the second is a sharper / bolder image I created using the templates:

Before and After Graphic

Since that was SO easy (literally, a matter of minutes) I decided to try my hand at an Infographic. I have to say... that was FUN! πŸ˜€ Again, I'm no designer. It's all template based. Here's a preview of the Infographic I created for my low carb blog:

creating my first infographic

You can see it on my blog here. You'll notice I included instructions for sharing the Infographic, along with copy & paste HTML code to let people embed it on their blog or website. πŸ˜‰

I agree that it's a little wordy. Don't judge me too harshly - it was my very first time creating my own Infographic. lol. Now that I actually created one though, I can't wait to go make another one! I've already generated a whole list of ideas for social media graphics, Infographics, and illustrations - most of which will be repurposed from popular blog posts & content in my archives (hint! TIP!).

Check it out and have some fun with it!

Best,

p.s. The package is only $17 (not including the two add-ons I got, which are also super cheap). This is my referral link so thank you in advance if you decide to use these awesome templates! Note: Even if you don't want to do ANY editing, you can use all 10 of the Internet Marketing Infographics as-is (already created for you). πŸ˜‰

Here's my original post/review again.

Enjoy!

Discussion

  1. Love the infographic! It really adds so much more to a post.

  2. I bought those templates when you originally wrote about them Lynn, and I haven't used them! I'm making a note to go take a look... Thanks for the reminder πŸ™‚

  3. A couple questions:

    Are the fonts included?
Are the graphic elements broken down really well? ie.. bits and pieces so I can really make unique graphics?

And PLR rights always confuse me (call me simple), if we resell do we have to disclose that it is a PLR product and credit the original author?

I'm really crunching to do what I need to do in my 90 minutes a night plan and one of my personality traits I'm trying to let go of in order to make it happen is the whole, "I don't need to buy things" or "I don't need to outsource". Templates, graphics packs and PLR products is sort of a "giving in" to letting go of these traits. I have to do this in order to start seeing check marks on my lists though.

    • Hi Johnathan,

Yes, the fonts are included. πŸ˜€

The terms of the Private Label Rights are also included. You can't sell the rights, though you can become an affiliate to do that. You can use the pre-made images as your own, or edit them and claim them as your own work, etc.

I buy very few things as well, and love these inexpensive items that have a *huge* ROI. I am particular about what I outsource too, but definitely take advantage of the expertise of others (and love Fiverr.com!) when it's going to save me tons of valuable time - that I can use doing what *I* do best.

There is a full guarantee so there's no risk. πŸ˜‰ I am really loving this package - well, all three that I got. The options are endless with all of them combined!

      • I just bit the bullet, got the Initial pack and the PLUS..
Had to close tabs out when the up selling started though, I'm sure the other packs are worth it but I use to get lost in the purchase / download cycle.

Your post showing your stats after using the graphics is what made me "pop". I've been reading your blog long enough that I "almost" trust you. After all, you're on the internet. They can't put anything that isn't true on the internet. πŸ˜›

Happy blogging and thanks for being awesome Lynn.

      • LOL Johnathan - you literally made me laugh out loud! πŸ˜‰

Enjoy the package. You'll LOVE it!!

        *cheers*

        • "After all, you're on the internet. They can't put anything that isn't true on the internet. :P" - I totally said that in my "ditsy blonde" voice in my head too!

          Anyhow, "cheers!"

          • Ha! Too funny πŸ˜‰ There's so much crap and misinformation online it isn't even funny. Try working in weight loss and food science for awhile. πŸ˜›

I always fond of infographics !!!
They are so amazing , now a days readers also prefer reading infographic then big big articles, they Don't want read whole article so they generally prefer to read infographics.

I prefer to make my own info graphics then outsourcing them.
But you can outsource it if you can't really find amazing idea for your information.

    • I agree - social media has created more of "visual content" audience! πŸ˜‰

The easiest way to come up with ideas for your graphics & infographics is to repurpose great content out of your archives, some of your best text updates & blog posts, etc.

  5. I bought these as well Lynn last year, but found that they weren't so appropriate for creating the cover for my ebook that I was after.
However, I can see here that they have a lot more versatility.
I really love this and I can see a lot of potential with something like this for my own site as well.
    Thanks for this.

    • Hi Lisa πŸ˜€ I loved the image content you came up with and shared in the SMR group this morning - great work! For cover graphics, I am using: http://www.clicknewz.com/10616/ecovers/ Another GREAT package! Combined, there are tons of possibilities - not just for ecovers or infographics of course, but all types of Image Content... which as you know, is HOT right now. πŸ˜‰

  6. Thanks Lynn! I've been having fun with my chihuahua Facebook page and making graphics is really getting me more likes and shares. Thanks for this product. I'm going to check it out.

    • Image Content gets tons of engagement & exposure, so I'm glad to hear you're tapping into that already! πŸ˜‰ Enjoy the package. It has unlimited possibilities!! There are tons of additional graphics and icons even to illustrate blog posts, downloads, ebooks, you name it!

  7. The Facebook reach (so far) on the new Infographic is 4.2k, 731 click through's, 82 new page likes... plus 94 Likes, Comments & Shares on the actual update. πŸ™‚

It's making quite a splash on Pinterest too!

  8. FYI. You can NOT download Adobe Photoshop CS2 for free.

    http://www.forbes.com/sites/adriankingsleyhughes/2013/01/07/download-adobe-cs2-applications-for-free/

"You have heard wrong! Adobe is absolutely not providing free copies of CS2!"

    Hi Lynn! ☺

I just used your referral link and have subscribed to the 3 free templates to see if I'm able to work with them. I don't have Photoshop so I may be limited to using them. I do have Gimp but struggle using it. If I can master making the changes for my own brand, I will be purchasing it. If I decide to purchase, will your link be embedded in the sales copy I assume I'll be receiving from the subscription to the free ones?

I want to make sure you get your due credit. I'll be checking off the follow up comment box so when you respond to this, I'll know whether I have to take your referral link from this post before purchasing or whether the link they send will work for you.

Thanks for sharing and best wishes for a great day!

    Maurice ☺

    • How nice of you to ask, Maurice! I imagine it will work, but you might copy the link just in case for when you're ready to order the package.

I'm using the Photoshop CS2 I mentioned already, so download that and give it a try! Another option is Pixlr.com (a free web-based editor that you can use for PSD files). I do like Adobe better than Pixlr - and I think you will too. πŸ˜‰
