Your Chance to Win a Lenovo ThinkCentre!

This is your chance to win a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z 23’’ HD-ready Touch Screen all-in-one desktop computer! πŸ˜€

Lenovo is currently doing a blog outreach program, and they are allowing each blogger involved to give away one of these super cool systems.

One of the features I didn't share in the video (oops!) is that there is an on-screen touch keyboard.

It stays over to the left at the very edge of the screen, and you simply tap it to bring it open. It also works with a stylus pen.

This system would be super cool with a swing arm mounted by a chaise lounge or big comfy chair & ottoman.

That way you could swing it out of the way, or in front of you at a comfortable level and tilt to work on it like a giant iPad. πŸ˜€

All you have to do is a leave a comment below between now and May 2nd, 2011 (10pm Eastern) - specifically with your thoughts on the ThinkCentre M90z - and you're entered to win!

At 10pm Eastern on May 2nd I will do a random drawing from all of the comments about the ThinkCentre M90z on this post, between now and then. One entry per person, multiple comments do not equal multiple entries. YouTube and Facebook comments do not count - you must comment here on this post (below).

Be sure to use the correct email address and Twitter ID when leaving a comment below. I will contact you via Twitter if you win the drawing, and email you to get your shipping address for the prize.

Once the drawing is over and a winner is selected, the shipping details will be sent to Lenovo. They will ship your prize to you directly.

Good luck!! πŸ˜‰

Best,

Just out of curiosity, How much Ram and Hard Drive Space does it have? Anyway like you wasn't sure about the Brand but I have heard good things about them! Can't wait until you send me my computer LoL!

  2. Lynn - great review! I love the way you present product reviews. The computer looks very impressive. Thanks for your review.

  3. Christopher says

Wow, 23 inch HD screen! I'd probably need to get a new desk! Who needs a TV anymore. The touchscreen is quite interesting. I would definitely put VMWare on it so I could run Linux and OSX too!

    Thanks Lynn!

  4. I have been trying to win one of these from every blogger that's involved in the program! This would be the perfect tool for my classroom. There are so many creative web2.0 tools that would fit naturally with the touch screen. The compact nature makes it easily mobile within the classroom so that I can still vary my seating and furniture arrangements as needed. I've been pricing the all-in-one PC setups but alas, unless I write and win a grant etc. it doesn't look like it's in the cards.

  5. VERY cool! As a busy Sandwich Generation granny nanny, I am constantly on the run, typing on my blog at home, at the grandkids' when I am babysitting grandchildren, at Panera Bread when I'm in between and who knows where else. I could really use a faster / safer laptop for travel than my Netbook (I love it, but it's sloooow tonight). And much as I would love an iPad - this looks like a sturdier option - perfect for being around grandkids and granddogs. Thanks for the fun opportunity!

  6. Wow - the product name says it all: "Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z 23’’ HD-ready Touch Screen all-in-one desktop computer"! πŸ™‚

I love the idea of a touch screen PC! The flexibility and functionality created by the built in CD/DVD player, and additional USB ports are essential for today's graphic and computing demands. I also love that is has an i5 processor and built in web cam since skype meetings have become essential in my business.

Windows is important for several of the programs I use, and the quick tap technology combined with the virtual keyboard are techy-sweet! No more struggling to find that mouse pointer - I can quickly touch what's needed on screen.

I think Inovo thought of everything with this PC. The latest technology and touch screen capability in a powerful machine...an Internet marketer's dream.

    Thanks for this opportunity, Lynn!

  7. Lynn - love the review and even your 4 legged helper walking around in the background!

I can see myself sitting on my Perfect Chair and swinging the Lenovo ThinkCentre across in front of me and work away while relieving my low back pain - much better than sitting at the desk.

As always - Thanks for the help and advice.

  8. I been wanting a IPad this will work it looks like a nice computer I would love to have one,I been using a windows XP for years I need another computer so I put in my chance to win it.

  9. Rozina Hunter says

Hum....this seems like quite an awesome computer Lynn. I like the idea of not having a thousand cords all over the place. It seems so sophisticated. Picking a spot for right now.

  10. Lynn,

I really appreciate all the advice you give out so freely. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way but I just wanted to let you know I appreciate it. This Thinkcentre looks amazing. I am in need of a new laptop and was considering Apple Mac this time around but I will have to check this system out.

  11. I have been wanting a touch screen for as long as I knew they existed - being a graphic designer it would just be great to arrange stuff on the screen! Thanks for doing the demo.

  12. Cheryl Phillips says

This is a fabulous computer! I love the on screen touch keyboard. My oldest daughter is headed to grad school in september and her ages old computer just died after 4 years of college. Bad news so winning this would be a blessing for sure. Best part? Her birthday is May 2!!

  13. This is a very cool computer with an awesome concept. My wife homeschools our 3 kids and is learning how to blog. This would be the perfect computer, especially since she hates the clutter of a big desktop like I have now.

I just bought a new Droid phone and I love it. This reminds me of that and the touch screen features are absolutely the best. The space saving and ease of use of this computer are going to be huge. I know for families like ours who homeschool, this would be a great computer to have. The space it will save is worth it alone, just ask my wife. πŸ™‚

  14. I *swear* I had this idea almost 10 years ago when I purchased my first Apple Cinema Display! The thing I wondered then as now is how does your arm/shoulder feel at the end of a full day using this? Maybe if it tipped backward a little so you don't have to reach 'up' for the monitor but rather 'down and foward'. There are probably other ergonomic issues to overcome but I definitely think the mouse as we know it will be a thing of the past for many in the near future.

Now that touch technology is catching on (and its UI evolving), I'm waiting to *completely* get rid of my monitor and have my "screen" projected into the air a la sci-fi shows. It's just a matter of time, right?

I'll probably always be a mac-head but I sure could use a PC for certain things. Parallels isn't too snappy on my old intel mac. *fingers crossed* for the win!

  15. Wow! Very impressive. My desktop behind me is begging to be replaced, and a space saver sounds like just what I need.

  16. Shane Greenup says

Awesome. The slimline design would be awesome to clean up all of the clutter on my current desktop. And these days, having a touch screen is starting to feel like an obvious next move. Nearly everything is touch screen these days, if we don't start getting touch screen monitors, we're all going to end up tapping our monitors out of habit, and having them do nothing!

  17. Robert Nelson says

I want it, Hope I win.

  18. Very innovative! There are times when I am walking through a process or demonstration with a client and touching the screen would make it so much easier! Visible to several at a time, this would be great in a live, small group coaching session as well.

Currently I work on my laptop and it is not always the best solution for the teaching/coaching situation that is my style of instruction. Thanks for introducing this technology and giving me the solution possibility to consider. I want to go give it a try!

    In gratitude,
    Terry

  19. Becky Lam says

Spiffy! I wonder if the touch screen will help minimize repetitive strain injuries so prevalent now among computer users? I might think about giving up my IBM T30 for it, IF it comes with its own personal tech support person. :-)))

  20. Tiffany Washko says

Very nice machine there. I gave up on laptops awhile back but how I miss having a sleek and small machine on my desk. That very issue keeps me from getting the type of desk I want. Love the touch screen feature as well. We would get a lot of use out of this since I work from home and homeschool. Thanks for the great contest!

  21. Dr. Lisa Van Allen says

This is an amazing system. My husband is in serious need of a new system... I'll be tempted to give him my set up and keep this one for myself!!

  22. I was just talking to hubs about a new monitor. But this is better. He'd LOVE it.

  23. gary gunter says

First of all, I love the 23" monitor and also as someone had said in their comments, you don't have all of those wires hanging around. I know the touch screen capabilities are whats happen now.I like it has the web camera plenty of USB connections.

To me it seems to have everything roll up into one set up and that is what makes it super nice. I try to stay up with things but it can get costly, I could use something like this, I'm working on a 2003 DellDimension E510 and could use the update. Either way it will make the lucky winner a SUPER NICE GIFT! Good luck to everyone.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Experiencing a 23" computer screen would be awesome. I love the features which are so unlike my current PC - the CD and DVD player being on the side, as well as the additional USB ports.

Thank you for doing this review, Lynn. Looks like a fabulous piece of equipment that I'd love to have in my home office.

  25. Terry Cole says

Cool computer. How long did it take you to get used to the touch screen? What is the memory? Thanks Lynn, Terry

  26. Julianne Wish says

What a GREAT computer system! I would love to have this to run my business and my blogs promoting work at home parents!

  27. Well, considering my PC laptop is almost ten years old, a touch screen and HD would be a huge upgrade! Thanks for the opportunity!

  28. Hi Lynn, and thanks for the chance to enter the contest.

I don't have an active Twitter ID, so I hope that is not a problem. (I signed up ages ago, and then never used it.)

A sleek design on this computer, similar to the iMac, but with a touch screen. Very nice, and comes with lots of bundled software.

Fingers crossed, as I could certainly use a new computer.

Best of luck to all who enter here.

    Cheers,
    Karen

P.S. Enjoyed the glimpse of Slim in the background.

  29. I like the fact that the screen is big and there is no tower so it actually saves space. I also like the touch screen; it will keep me awake through the long hours online.

  30. Looks fantastic. Great demonstration. Love that it has no tower or anything. Looks much better than an ipad too. Flash!! Yay!

  31. Gary Cornelisse says

My wife would love one of these. We look at systems like this almost every time we go to Best Buy.

  32. I have been wanting an ipad2 for some time now but just can't justify spending the money. This would make a great alternative for me. Definitely looks cool!

  33. Wow, I only realized that such computers exist (All-in-one integrated desktops) only a few days ago and now you posted this timely post πŸ˜€

The screen is really big and aethestically pleasing to the eye, both on the computer and outside the computer (cause of lesser wire clutters around)!

  34. 23 inch HD touch screen all by itself is extremely cool. Other very nice features means I'd be happy to have one awarded to me through this random drawing. Thanks!

And check out Lynn's iPad 2! She's got it down, folks.

  35. Clay Franklin says

I love touch screens. I think this would be perfect for the kitchen.

  36. Kim Conroy says

The 23" HD touch screen has me sold already and knowing it's a Lenovo system means dependability which is a must for any home business owner. Lenovo's support is second to none. What can I say, they make a top of the line product.

  37. Looks like a really intuitive and cool computer. Send me one so I can check it out and give you a better opinion πŸ˜‰ Just kidding.. unless I win it of course.

  38. I am pushing a two-year old laptop pretty hard trying to edit film. This would really improve my life.

  39. The timing couldn't be better!! I am in the market for a home office system (my computer is ancient), and this would be so cool to win.

Thanks Lynn Terry for the contest and the opportunity.

    Alexia

  40. Wow, this looks great. I love the idea of the camera which would be great for me since I want to do some video recordings for my new business website. The touch screen seems cool--giant iPad, YEAH!! I am in the process of re-organizing my office--would love to clear off a space for one of these babies!!

  41. Jean-Marc says

What a nice gadget. I like computers a lot. It would be nice to have one like this. Thanks for giving us a chance to win one.

  42. Raw Andrew says

That is one coooool PC. I would love to work on it. Too bad it doesn't have a battery included too so I could take it to the beach and chill out.

I guess I could hook it up to an UPS and make my friends jealous by playing with it on the beach while sipping a margarita.

It think it would also be awesome for my brainstorming sessions. Being able to use the touch screen to create mind maps and organize my thoughts. Pretty awesome.

  43. Anita Johnson says

I would LOVE to own the "Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z 23" HD-ready Touch Screen all-in-one desktop computer" because I live online and ew technology excites me (having worked with computers since the early 80s). But my Mom has a really slow computer with a mouse that barely works. I think the touch screen would be IDEAL for her because it appears that navigation would be so much easier. Besides, her 76th birthday is Monday, May 2nd . . . and then there's Mother's Day. πŸ™‚ What a great gift I'd be able to give her.

  44. Anita Johnson says

Please correct that typo: "ew" should be "new" THANKS! πŸ™‚

  45. I think retro fitting a swing arm on a chaise lounge won't be that hard. I'd love to own a new Lenovo ThinkCentre. I've played with ones in the stores and the touch screen capability makes computing fun again.

  46. What an amazing tool! I can work so many different places with this and relax at the same time! Woo Hoo!

  47. Looks like an AWESOME setup that would be perfect on my desk!

  48. Doug Ankele says

Lynn, thank you for the great job on your video on presenting the opportunity to win the Lenovo Thinkcentre Touch. My reasons are many that I would love to win the Thinkcentre, my new blog that I'm working on constantly, being out of work for awhile (blessing in disguise), two teens at home, and I'm REALLY a slow typist, to name a few. Plus, the BIG 23" screen on these baby boomer eyes would help out greatly. The link below is what I currently look like on the computer.

  49. Richard Crooke says

Absolutely, very cool computer. Could be my lucky time, my wife's computer died the other day and I can't seem to fix our 2003 Dell desktop. Microsoft wants $59 to repair, I said never mind.

Nice to hear you like the product, I am not familiar with the touch screen computers yet.

    Thanks for the opportunity Lynn.

    Richard

  50. I can think of a lot of places where this unit would fit real well, perhaps even in my airplane! The world of technology is changing rapidly, and with the amount of work involved in running an online business today one of these would be really sweet to use.

Right away I can see that with a little practice workflow could be increased significantly, and it looks like making changes on the fly would go very fast.

At my age the bigger the better!
