Your Chance to Win a Lenovo ThinkCentre!

This is your chance to win a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z 23’’ HD-ready Touch Screen all-in-one desktop computer! πŸ˜€

Lenovo is currently doing a blog outreach program, and they are allowing each blogger involved to give away one of these super cool systems.

One of the features I didn't share in the video (oops!) is that there is an on-screen touch keyboard.

It stays over to the left at the very edge of the screen, and you simply tap it to bring it open. It also works with a stylus pen.

This system would be super cool with a swing arm mounted by a chaise lounge or big comfy chair & ottoman.

That way you could swing it out of the way, or in front of you at a comfortable level and tilt to work on it like a giant iPad. πŸ˜€

All you have to do is a leave a comment below between now and May 2nd, 2011 (10pm Eastern) - specifically with your thoughts on the ThinkCentre M90z - and you're entered to win!

At 10pm Eastern on May 2nd I will do a random drawing from all of the comments about the ThinkCentre M90z on this post, between now and then. One entry per person, multiple comments do not equal multiple entries. YouTube and Facebook comments do not count - you must comment here on this post (below).

Be sure to use the correct email address and Twitter ID when leaving a comment below. I will contact you via Twitter if you win the drawing, and email you to get your shipping address for the prize.

Once the drawing is over and a winner is selected, the shipping details will be sent to Lenovo. They will ship your prize to you directly.

Good luck!! πŸ˜‰

Best,

  1. Hi Lynn! My favorite thing about the Lenovo ThinkCentre is that it doesn't have the tower which gets in the way even when it was under my desk. I've since moved on to working from just a laptop, however my mom is in the market for a new computer. This would be absolutely perfect for her and a wonderful Mother's Day gift!

  2. this is totally cool. I love the all in one feature. Not having a tower is awesome. Having the USB's on the side would be a dream. I have wires and extra USB ports all over my desk I would love to get rid of these. Please pick me! LOL

Thanks for the chance at winning.

Hi, Lynn! That is a really cool computer! I have always wanted an iPad, but will have to put that off for now. However, this looks like a great computer to have for the home. I love the touch screen and the fact that there is no tower. I get so tired of kicking the tower under my desk. Plus, the cords are always everywhere. πŸ™‚

  4. Another blogger who has pulled me out of lurkdom to post! I've been following your blog over the last few months, your issues with your ipad are what got me here.

As for the Lenovo Think Center.....Interesting, cool, intriguing! Love the idea of no tower! Not so sure about the touch screen, but its something new and would need to be played with extensively πŸ™‚

    Have a great Sunday Lynn!

  5. Oh Lynn - that Lenovo ThinkCentre is SO COOL! The guy at the computer store was just showing me a touchscreen computer and I fell in love with the idea. The Sailor will need a new desktop when he returns from the Gulf this summer.(since ours totally crashed) I would be so thrilled to have that for him.

  6. Lynn,

This computer would be great for the family computer. The kids always want to play with my ipad and this would be a great alternative. Obviously not as portable but way more powerful. Added bonus is no tower. A computer like this lets you know where things are going in the future. Awsum! Oh and the pop up keyboard is very cool.

  7. Allen Dresser says

Anyone with a blog with "Internet" and "tech" on the domain oughta have one of these....

  8. This computer would be great in my classroom. I would love to give my kids the chance to use this modern technology. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to win one!

  9. tamara hall says

I love this new technology and would love to gift it to my 23 yr old son who just had a baby!
Thank you for the chance to enter and also for the great info!

  10. PJ Bess says

The Lenovo ThinkCentre is SICK! In a good sense of course. AT first I was struggling with the usefulness of a touch screen work station but with 2 young children they have already screen the future. HA! I like the fact that it is powerful, compact, stylish and yet resourceful. It would be an awesome to win indeed.

Hi Lynn, This is an amazing opportunity, Thank you. Your presentation about the Lenovo Think center was very insightful. The large touch screen and technology that this system has to offer is so exciting and would give me an opportunity that I would not personally be able afford on my own. I hope to to be able to use this computer to further my education as I was laid off over two years ago and the economy has not been very good to me. I wish all that have entered good luck.
    Warmest Wishes,
    Lori Teixeira

  12. Karen Kramer says

Love that big screen. My old lady eyes can't handle all the squinting to see those smart phone screen thingies.

  13. Billy Matthews says

Awesome piece of technology, would love to try it out.

  14. I have an iPad with Bluetooth keyboard. I like the combo of the wireless keyboard and the touch instead of moving your mouse. I am a huge keyboard fan. The less I have to do with my mouse, the better. Anyway, when I get back to my 'other' PCs, I find myself wanting to touch my PC screens, which does nothing since, unlike this Lenovo ThinkCentre, it is not a touch screen. πŸ™

I have two 22" wide screen NON-TOUCHSCREENS that fool me all the time. This All-In-One-Device would save me from cleaning my screens from unnecessary fingerprints. πŸ™‚

  15. Hi Lynn, One of the things I like about the ThinkCentre is that it is tower-less. I don't like having a tower on top or under my desk and it seems like my cables are never long enough. The built-in web camera is another feature that I love.

  16. There are a couple things I find especially compelling about this system. The most obvious is the lack of a tower. As someone who has build computers for a living I find the self contained nature of this system invaluable and intriguing. I work from home and space on and around my desk is at a premium. As a "less is more" kind of person the neat, minimal design is a real winner.

The touch screen is another thing I could easily fall in love with. As a fairly new iPhone adopter I really love how quick and easy a touch screen makes things.

The general specs of this system are top notch too. Here is a system that not only meets you needs but exceeds them!

PS My current desktop is nearing 10 years old. I could really use an upgrade!

  17. Neil Kristianson says

Lynn, this new gizmo would be a great replacement for my 5 year old HP tower. My wife just got an iMac and I am jealous of the great screen she has. The ThinkCentre looks like it could hold it's own in that battle. Who knows, I got lucky with your copy of 'Linchpin,' maybe I can do it again?

  18. Pam Brossman says

Lynn now I am impressed. I think this video would be a great product review for the Social Media Woman Magazine. Okay this was the first time I have ever seen this and this is what I love about it already.
    - Set-up in video studio to be able to show clients their videos
    - Take it with me to my local events - no tower so all my content does not have to be transferred to the laptop all the time
    - Touch screen very easy to maneuver
    - Size of screen and lack of chords to make my office messy
    - Functionality - everything I have with my tower [can it attach to a litepro like a laptop?]
    - I have huge visions for this tool in my business as a visual marketing tool
    - Plus, as mentioned set up for video communication globally around the world
    - Coaching calls and video training.

Would love to win one - thanks for sharing.
    Cheers

I love the way technology is moving. I am so addicted to all the new products that come out. They make life so much easier. The old IBM pc. jr. computers surely have changed LOL. That was the first computer I had. I can't even remember what grade I was in when my mother purchased it for me.

  20. Hi Lynn

Great review, I was wondering how it feels from an ergonomic point of view. Is there any strain on the user that sort of thing.

    Leigh πŸ™‚

    • So far - no. I do have it set back on my desk though so I would need to angle it differently (and closer) for prolonged use of the touch screen. I think I'm going to try a swing arm.

The more I use it, the more I love it. I have a few more things to test out yet - ustream etc. Watch for another video soon πŸ˜‰

  21. AussieMitch says

    Awesome touch screen technology.
    Thanx for the review.
User friendly is becoming the new tag in technology.
Looks easy enough for baby boomer and beyond set. πŸ™‚
Are we able to enter in Australia? Or is this only for people in the good ol US of A ??

  22. Stephen says

I love to be able to expand my system with the minimum of fuss, and the Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z 23’’ HD-ready Touch Screen all-in-one desktop computer allows me to do this.

I love the way that the whole back panel of the machine is removable by means of two latches at the base. It's genius design means that I can easily slide the hard disk and slimline optical drive out of their bays without using any tools.

I can also boost amount of RAM by using the spare slot next to the installed 2GB module.

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z offers a great all-in-one package but with built-in ease of expandability.

    Can't wait to get one.

  23. Joe Barlow says

    Hi Lynn,

This sounds like an amazing machine! I am presently without a desktop (my faithful iMac finally died after almost a decade of hard use), which means the wife and I are constantly fighting over use of the laptop. Unfortunately, this means my writing time gets impacted because she wants to check Facebook and play Farmville, haha!

We both love the interface of the iPad, along with the screen size of a good desktop, so the Lenovo sounds like the best of both worlds! The feature set looks amazing.

  24. Francisco Cabrera says

    Hello Lynn,

This is a fantastic and outstanding machine! I am presently using a pavillion pc with windows xp, so I definetely need a upgrade. I am absoulutely thrilled with the interactive touch screen and keyboard features that would allow me and my family to be constantly interacting with objects on the screen as do graphic designers! This machine would be a fantastic mother's day gift!

  25. Thanks Lynn for bringing this product to my attention. I use a swing arm now, so a touch screen is really appealing.

  26. Bob Moldashel says

    Hey Lynn

I actually watched a full promo video on this machine and love the touch screen idea. I am thinking it would greatly reduce the "mouse pain" that I have now thanks to the arthritis I have in my thumb joints. I am going to go check one out. Need to see if Micro Center has one on display. 23" iPad...WOW!

  27. Janet Resto says

I would love to have this computer in my classroom. My pre-k and ESE students would love it!

  28. Hi Lynn, What a fabulous comp! I am very excited about the installed camera. I'd love to be able to do video posts on my blog. I'd also love to stay in touch with friends via skype. Having a touch screen looks handy too. I would love to work from the comfort of a big chair whilst using this. Very excited x

  29. Rebecca messer says

    lynn,
Thank you for showing me the future! this is out of this world. i just love it. what it could do for the business I am working on. I have had my computer forever. It is time I come out of the dark ages and bloom into the future. just love it. Thank you again. God Bless Rebecca

  30. rayvonnejohnson says

I would love to win this lenovo thinkcentre computer and put my allin one hp to the side because it has the cool touchscreen feature .

  31. Phil Wong says

I'm due for an upgrade to my 2005 DIY PC which is unfortunately slowing down due to age (just like we do no matter how well we defrag, add memory, hard disks etc.).

Tell you what Lynn. Since I'm on the other side of the planet and there is no chance of Lenovo shipping it here - you can donate it to the charity of your choice or let your furry companion join in the community since it's so easy to use (though I'd prefer the latter). LOL! πŸ˜›

  32. Rozina Hunter says

Oops! forgot to leave twitter id

  33. Scott Nelson says

Since getting blessed with an ITouch, I totally love touch screen computers, although I'm not cool enough to be an all Apple person, I like this touch screen PC. Just got married and would pass along my laptop to the wife and would could stream movies on the new 23" monitor, it's hard to pick what I like more, TOUCHSCREEN or 23" MONITOR. Thanks for the review and the opportunity to enter.

  34. Monica Salazar says

Love the design, especially the built-in camera. I currently use a big laptop with a separate keyword, and I'd be grateful for an upgrade. Thanks!

  35. Would you believe I have read every single one of your comments?? LOL I am really enjoying your thoughts - both on the features, and best uses. Very cool!

If you're new to ClickNewz due to this drawing... Welcome!! πŸ˜€

  36. Khalid J Hosein says

Ah, at last, the PC version of the iMac! πŸ˜‰ And I'm not even an Apple fan boy. But still, I like that a PC maker is entering a field dominated by Apple.

What's weird is that Lenovo is advertising this as for the enterprise. Somehow (and I'm saying this as an IT guy), I'm not sure IT depts will care for this, b/c it means that if anything breaks, then you have to replace the whole unit, not to mention that you can't really upgrade the monitor without upgrading the whole unit.

But on the other hand, it does save a ton of space, so that can be a huge plus in many environments, and the multi-touch screen is pretty slick!

  37. This looks fantastic!
It would be better if the screen could detach to be used like a ipad, but its still great that there is no tower and everything is within reach on the bottom and sides of the screen!
My tower is under my desk, its a huge old dell with most of the ports in the back, and its so slow! I could really use one of these!!!!

  38. You also did a awesome job reviewing it and it was wonderful to see you in the video! πŸ™‚

  39. Caroline says

Okay, that last video did it for me Lynn. I'd lurve to have a wee fishy tank on my desk. Great fun chasing the minnows around. The kit look pretty good too!

  40. ThinkCentre M90z?

After reading your comments Lynn, I feel I need to win one so I can try it out for myself πŸ™‚

  41. del boone says

    That's a really cool machine

  42. Hyla Weimann says

    Hi Terry,
Thanks for a great opportunity - not that I expect it to be available in South Africa where I come from, but still very good information on the Lenovo Think Center. It sounds like an awesome system that would be absolutely great to have. I don't have much space for my computer, so I mainly make use of my laptop. I would love to have something more suitable to use every day though.

I love the review you did - very professional and contains great info.

  43. Angus Russell says

These look awesome. I've played with one (or a similar one) in an electronics store before and I think it would be really good to have in the old home office πŸ™‚

I think having the touch screen would be useful in some cases but less useful in others, which is actually a win-win because it also has a keyboard and mouse.

Looking forward to hearing who the winner is (and hoping it's me lol)...

  44. Lincoln Chandler says

Hi Lynn, This would be a great replacement for my 7 year old dell. Already own a Think Pad and love it. Thanks for the opportunity, and the continued great information you pass along here.

  45. Thomas Fuhrman says

I love how the ThinkCentre could be used for interactive engagement in my classroom. I especially like the capabilities offered by the webcam for augmented reality and QR code use integrated with the use of the touch screen with educational online programs and software.

  46. Cool!!! Love the "iPad w/Windows" comparison. I want an iPad, but I'm still a Windows geek (creature of habit I guess). LOL Getting ready to start doing more video so would love to try this out with that. ;o) Awesome giveaway. Thanks Lynn!

  47. Pat Peterson says

Thanks for the quick review! Our house is very Mac-centric, but there are times when a PC can come in very handy, and the ability to do touchscreen is also very welcome. Maybe I'll stop trying to scroll on my old iBook by swiping the screen like I do on my wife's iPad (or maybe this would make it worse!).

  48. Amy Dunbar says

This is a great computer! Wow! What we thought wouldn't be available in our lifetime actually is. It would be like having a large IPad for those of us with bad eyes....lol.

  49. Tiffany Duck says

The Lenovo ThinkCentre M90z all in one desktop computer looks amazing, plus a touch keyboard what else could you ask for? Thanks Lynn!

  50. Thanks for the review Lynn. I'm definitely on the fence with this one. I'm so used to just having my hand on a mouse and not having to lift my arm for much of anything. Maybe the touchscreen would be good for my arms! I need a new computer and have been considering getting a powerful laptop with a docking station, so this looks like a possible option for the home office. I'll have to go check one out in the store (that is, if I don't win one!)
