Earnings With PayPerPost

I have been working with PayPerPost for a few months now, initially signing on with them to review them as a legitimate way to make money blogging. I have followed along through their growth and changes as a start-up company, continuing to take a few opportunities along the way, and have earned well over $800 with them to date...

It is a rather easy way to earn money if you are already blogging. PayPerPost is a blog marketing network, managing relationships between advertisers and bloggers. Advertisers can create buzz online, get quality links on content pages and gain mass exposure. Bloggers can earn money simply for including reviews and/or text links in related blog posts.

Exact earnings with PPP so far are $859.76, but I should mention that the earning potential with someone doing it full-time are much higher. In fact, in an update I gave in October (PayPerPost Update), you can see that you can easily earn that much or more per month with PPP...

If I had posted 3 opps per day consistently, and considered the $8.47 payout average per post, I could have easily earned almost $900 in my first month - with only one blog. And this doesnt include high-paying in-house opps, such as puzzle contests (which payout hundreds of dollars).

That also doesnt include other income sources - the $900/month potential is in addition to Adsense revenue, text link sales, affiliate sales, etc.

... especially with their recent roll-out of high paying opps for bloggers 😉

PayPerPost recently asked what we plan to do with our earnings. For me, it all goes right back into the business, funding the time and opportunity to continue testing various methods for earning money online and writing case studies and tutorials around these opportunities.

PPP is a great opportunity for stay-at-home parents, housewives, retired people and others to make substantial spending money for themselves, though. It is one of the easiest things to get into at the moment, from zero experience to consistent earnings within a few short months.

Best,

  1. I agree, PPP is a great way to earn some extra money blogging. I haven't made as much as you yet but working on making more in the future with them.

Hi Lynn - So, I am curious to know what your thoughts are about the uproar from some A-list bloggers about the Payperpost business model. I personally think it's a great infrastructure for both advertisers and bloggers. It almost reminds me of when Overture first started serving ads (i.e. paid search) in the search engine results, I think 2001 or 2002. I remember there was an uproar in the media about the idea of “manipulating the search engine results”. Now, today every brand has adopted this model of advertising and it’s becoming (if not already) a billion dollar business; and it produces a strong ROI in most cases.

  3. Hi Michael,

I addressed this originally in September when I first joined PayPerPost. See PPP Bashing. Personally, I think much of the bashing is done simply for the publicity surrounding the launch and growth of PPP.

I even polled ClickNewz readers at one point, which resulted in an overwhelmingly positive response. As for Calcanis and his rants, here are two of my previous responses:

    - Integrity, Calcanis? C’mon...

    - Who owns the blogosphere?

    Best,
    Lynn Terry

I'm looking for some possible ways to monetize my own blog and PayPerPost has been recommended to me and I'm glad that it is an honest and legitimate company to work with.
