Rosalind Gardner has a great guide on Affiliate Marketing. But I would recommend that you download and read Jeremy Palmer's guide first. It is very fresh on the scene, with up-to-date information.

Scott's book is totally out of date. It promotes and explains the technique of direct linking, using advertisements placed on google, etc. Since this is no longer allowed, the majority of his book is useless. The last 1/4 of the book is about other types of IM, but really general stuff that you can easily find elsewhere for free on the net. I was really glad I got the book from the libary rather than purchasing it.
hi, Lynn Terry , i don't think search review from google make sense. In my opnion, most of this kinda reviews are REALLY scams. Funny enough, most of this review titled words like "scam" "secret revealed" and so on. I only think the info you're looking for can be found in some related forum...

Really respect the work you do in terms of looking at products, using them, and giving honest assessments. I am a noob and I wanted your opinion on which product I should START with (I am sure I will be using many products during my career, as any serious person will) Black Ink or Niche Blitzkrieg? From their product descriptions they seem to be very similar in terms of the scope of what is covered. I am not at all concerned with cost (one is only slightly more expensive) but I do want to choose the right 'launching pad'. Over time, I plan to come right back here to Click Newz and Self Starters to plan and continue my education.

I remember that back in the day BANS would bring me in a couple thousand a month with just 15 sites or go, but those days are long gone as EPN changes the way they pay affiliates with their all so horrible QPC system 🙁

I'm not personally familiar with either of those sites, but you will do much better creating a topical affiliate site/blog and working directly with merchants that are relevant to your topic...
This is what I call bookmark gold. All good stuff, however now-a-days most of my interests lie in tools for split testing and data collection to boost CTR.
